diggyj Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 What an awsome report. Would love to have an outing like that where you can catch a multitude of different species all in the same day. That is one monster walleye. Cheers and congrats. Dirk....
smokin joe Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 The bigger ones are actually pretty fun. They don't run like a pike but feel heavy and pump the rod a bit. Overall they come in pretty easy. Thanks for the info as I wasn't sure, still some great catches for sure man and I thank you sir
Chugger Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 Great report Ben! Good luck with your new gig this summer. I'll be sitting here at my office trying to figure out why I'm not where you are! -Graeme

We were disappointed with the lack of big pike as well. Hopefully we'll time it better next year. Might still have a few tricks up my sleeve this year though. We'll see.
