GoneFishin
Well I had a lot of time on my hands today and no frozen ice around me So I figured I'd turn an old garbage Shakespeare noodle rod into an Ice fishing rod. I was just going to break off the tip and jam it into part of the reel seat but I decided to get a little creative. I was going to cut the bottom off but I'm just gonna leave it on there. Now if the water would just freeze, I could try it out!! Edited December 8, 2008 by GoneFishin
limeyangler
good job gone fishin...i tried to make one last year out of the numerous rods i seem to break every summer....it did not turn out to well.....but i found a good use for all the broken rods this fall...they came in real handy taped together to feed the wires through my trailer frame when re-wiring new lights!!!
