SlowPoke Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 That wouldn't have happened on a rivited fiberglass boat! Is your buddy okay? -Brian
2 tone z71 Posted September 2, 2008 Author Report Posted September 2, 2008 sore arm Brian he went in to the windshield got very lucky it dident hook and flip, there was no blisters on the hull or anything that would suggest such damage prior to it tearing itself apart
glen Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Thanks for the pic. It looks interesting. Looks like a two or three piece boat.
Cast-Away Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 I can only assume from the age of the trailer that the boat itself was quite old? Do you know how old it was? Hydrostreams take a real pounding riding on the chine all of the time. It looks to me like a stress crack from age. Given where it is, the boat is likely dumpster material now. What a bummer.
