a late northeastern ontario report

Well its been a while since i posted here with some pictures

i managed to go out in the kirkland lake area 2 weeks ago

for a weekend getway but turned out to be 8 days lol

caught fish everyday released alot kept a few for the dinner table

no big fish this time up

anyways here was my rides for the 8 days

 

a few fish that came home for dinner

some scenery

 

i did see a couple moose but the camera was forgotten somewhere but i did see this nice bald eagle who sat around for a solid hour watching me fish not the best picture but ok

 

and what the weather looked like when i got home back in windsor

all i have to say the storm was pretty intense

 

but a couple days later i bought myself this for a very good price

 

and the last of it smoked speckle trout

ill be heading back up that way again in august

my band had a gig in kirkland lake in feb,

 

man it was like minus 60 i swear!

You said not many fish, but with scenery like that I'd feel pretty great just fishing in that setting. I hope to experience that soon!!!

No actually the bigger funnel sucked up the little one beside it

it was pretty neat
