irishfield Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 24 Ronson Drive.. Unit 6 Rexdale 416-614-7222 Between Kipling and Martin Grove.. it's like the service road beside the 401 North Side.
fishinggeek Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 But be mindful of prices wherever you go. I have found the exact same items (lures, reels, rods) can vary tremendously in prices between different retailers. Some are cheaper at a few items, others at different items. If you shop smart between a few places that are closeby, you can get the lowest price for everything and have that much more money left over for gas, boat storage, or whatever else you need. Good places for a quick comparison are Cabelas and Le Baron, which have their prices listed online.
BillM Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 Thanks Irish, it's actually right on my way home from work

Mike the Pike Posted March 4, 2008 Author Report Posted March 4, 2008 Well thanks for your help folks .I have just purchased a nice reel from one of our members this will be for my son. I will be looking at some of those nice reels that some of you have suggested. hopefully this year will be the year I will boat my first muskie. MTP
musky_man Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 MIke, I have several reels all the way up to 500.00. The one I reach for the most is the Cabo that Wayne suggested. Built like a rock and casts like a dream. Stay away for the C4 -- junk as far as I am concerned. Just can't handle the stress of musky fishing. Good luck.
