Fish Farmer Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Congrats on your first Bows. Your hooked now. Glad to see young anglers getting out. Then mom looking over the table at her son, Eating her sons catch. Lots of rewards I can see from a great sport. Should be more kids like yourself. Merry Christmas and may you catch more in the new year
Mike Pike Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Nice looking fish, Urban, and congratulations. Looks like the perfect size for the table. Glad your Mom got to enjoy 'er too! Cheers!
urbanangler1990 Posted December 18, 2006 Author Report Posted December 18, 2006 Exellent on you and congrats. Im curious if you changed up to pinkies cuz roe/flies werent working??? If I caught a smallish chrome such as yours once a week... it too would be heading to the pan!!!!!!! They've all been so big lately.....I can taste it already....hope you enjoyed it. hey brick, i didnt have any roe, and snagged my last jig on a log, lol, all day ive been using pinkies, no need to change, that what i found out... thnx guys for comments!
woodro Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 congrats dawg! pinkies are wicked baits, last season i think i caught just as many fish using pink worms as i did using roe bags. dont listen to the guys that are ripping on you for keeping your second rainbow ever, as long as you were in your legal limits, you ate it, and your mom enjoyed it, its all good hombre! hopefully we'll see you on the river

It turned out very delicious, we had a few long stripes and just breaded it with seasonings, dill weed, pepper, salt. Had it with mashed patatoes and sauce. Reallly tastttyyy! good stuff...
