andrey7474 Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 Last week we went for some bass fishing. The morning weather was calm and good for top-water bait. First cast – nothing. I threw a lure and started to “walk-a-dog”, then from out of nowhere seagull fell down and took the walker…After landing the fish (pardon, bird) to the boat, we’ve carefully extracted hook from a leg and let her go. Zara Spook must be a very good lure if even seagulls believe it’s wounded minnow
ccmtcanada Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I caught one as well...the fight flight kinda disappointed me though...LOL.
Roy Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 Sorry Cliff.....it just needed doing. :-)

Musky or Specks Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 (edited) Ive caught a few in my life. One time behind Preston Arena on the Grand while fishing a Pop-r I caught one and while he was fighting another one came down and tried to take the lure out of its mouth and I ended up catching two at once. It made it easier getting them in but much harder getting them off without getting pecked. Edited September 24, 2007 by Musky or Specks
Rizzo Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 caught a few pelican in my day, and last year a loon...the time I hooked into an ostrich though, now that's a episode I don't need to re-live.
Jen Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 I watched Easton catch one, and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard fishing in my life before. Thanks for posting, that made me smile! Cheers, Jen
