Lake Simcoe

I was thinking of fishing the holland landing for some pike since its so close to home. Has anyone had and luck there recently? Is it worth it to give it try or would I have better chances in cooks bay. Thanks for any advice.

I would imagine there would only be snot rockets in at this time of year but you never know. Water temps are down. Lot of good large mouth though from what I hear.....

Can you elaborate on the term snot rocket? It's a new one for me!

snot rockets = smaller pikes...

something like under 25 inches?

Snot Rockets = The pike I catch downtown in the summer

I would be surprised if you caught any pike there this time of year

cooks bay would be my choice

really...

all the pike i've caught dt were all fair sized..

but then again, i don't fish there THAT much..

Cooks will be your better choice for bigger fish.
