The only legal answer is, if it was caught in a lake stocked with Splake, then its a splake. If it was caught in a spec lake or anywhere else then its a spec. Splake are open year round and you are not expected to determine if it is a splake, spec or lake trout. If the lake is stocked with splake, its legal as a splake

I used to know a bunch of good spots, but the roads are closed so the fishing stays good for the rich people.

Thats just it Solo. They aren't fished out. We have been fishing these lakes for 30 years and working to get into them. Sure, by 4 wheel drive or ATV now but they are on public land and we shouldn't all of a sudden be stopped from going there just because some lobby group gets the right politician in their pockets. It says no motorized access...well, do they pedal the planes that land there? Or do they just have enough money to fly around the law. Or wait, do they have the laws written for them. There are plenty of parks with no motorized access. if there are not enough them lobby for more. But don't lobby to stop me from using a lake so you can have it all to yourself.

Pretty much what I would say and do, in either case. But if you came and told me I couldn't fish beside your hut...... I am respectfull and have moved my boat when somebody else got too close for my comfort...just please don't tell me I can't do something

Excuse me but I don't think you own the holes around your hut. If you aren't there why can't they fish beside your hut, even use it as a wind break. And if you show up you can fish inside or just move it. You wouldn't be telling me I can't fish beside your hut if I was there first.

Seems to me we have a lot of rules and different interpretations. So just why is it illegal to drink a beer while fishing, lets say, in a hut. There are laws against being drunk in a public lace. there are laws against drunk driving. So why is there a law against drinking at all. What do they think we are...little kids. As long as you don't disturb others or drive impaired, whats the problem. And why don't the cops issue a release officially stating the rules on ice huts. Are they scared we might not kiss their butts when they come to interogate us. Its not like there is a G20 summit out on the ice

They pulled the hooker thing here a couple months ago. There was starting to be a problem in this particular neighborhood. A friend of mine stopped at a light and this female comes up to his car and knocks on his window. She says, hey, I need money for a bus ticket. For 25 bucks I'll go for a ride in your car with you. he says...25 bucks, thats what its going for nowadays? She charged him. They got 50 men in 2 days driving by the same corner. Everybodys name got in the paper. They went to court and the judge said to all of them, donate $100.00 each to this charity and the charges will be dropped. I think 3 guys are actually saying no and fighting it. Then McGuinty enacts the war measures act but keeps it a secret. Sorry, I don't want to give these guys any more amunition than they already have...even if it is to save the moose. PS, these robots are generally set up at night to catch the guys that have been hunting for a week with no success so they decide to take a crack at one just after legal shooting hours that they never would have normally done. Just my opinion

If you intend to kill somebody and it doesn't work, Its attempted murder. I have never of a charge "attempted moose hunting" I'm all for busting poachers, but i don't like being set up for it. Sure, its to catch poachers, but to me its just a start. What if a cop pulls up and tries to get you to race a little, what if he tries to pick a fight with you in a bar and gets you to throw the first punch.

But whats the charge? It can't be moose hunting cause its not a moose, its a machine. So if the charge isn't for hunting, its not a poacher. Its careless use maybe, but its not hunting.

I think its gonna be great when they come out with a 120v model. At the rate McGuinty is building windmills on all the lakes, we will be able to plug in anywhere

Too many crooks in the world for my liking

My nephew got stuck a couple years ago as well. He got a home inspection. The basement leaked. The owners knew it leaked but said nothing. When he got a home inspection supposedly that lets the owner off the hook and puts it on the inspector, except the inspector is not liable. Who makes these laws anyway

Thats what I always figured too solo. She wouldn't have gotten one except the bank made her. I would have made the trip and inspected it myself otherwise.

last month my daughter was looking to buy a house. She picked one out and the bank said she had to have a home inspection done to get a mortgage. Well, she got the home inspection done and it noted very little wrong with the place, so she bought it and moved in 2 weeks ago. I went to help her move in. The home inspector had noted that in the panel there was a breaker not properly covered. I looked at it and thought...hmmm, this is weird. The breaker was too small for the hole that was opened in the panel for it. It was a 30 amp breaker. What would she need a 30 amp breaker for. It was shut off and this was moving day so i just left it. Walking in the back door from the garage I noticed a thick wire. It came out of metalic sheath from inside the wall and then ran down the door frame. There was a big chunk of black insulation cut out and the copper was showing. I'm thinking hmmmmlooks like the wire that would be hooked to the 30 amp breaker. Wonder why its bare and the home inspector didn't note it. Jump ahead to today and I get a phone call from her saying her furnace isn't working. I told her, call a gas company and get it checked out. The guy says, the furnace is shot and there is no way the home inspector shouldn't have picked this out. I asked her how old the furnace was and she said the home inspector said he couldn't get the panel off to check the year on it. So, she is without a furnace...this is in North Bay right now and its -20C The gas company gave her 4 electric heaters and said if she gets the furnace from them there will be no charge for the service call. I told her to tell them that she wants to keep the old furnace. I want to look at it and to hold it as evidence for any future problems. Either the gas guy is not being right, or the home inspector is a flake. Question is, what responsibility do home inspectors have for actually inspecting
