  1. Oh my..... http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/en/Business/LetsFish/Publication/STEL02_163615.html
  2. Yes, the pnuemonia and the $'s spent to get it.....
  3. LOL.....amazing the price one will pay for time away from home.
  4. I agree that sharing general knowledge, basic tactics and such is all good. The disclosure of specific tactics along with location, date and time.....stupid!
  5. Stellar!
  6. Well I have only quickly perused it at this point I will say that talking specific locations on a message forum is absolutely foolish and we do have rules about it. "Please do not post VERY SPECIFIC information on fishing spots, ie pinpoint locations and maps. It is our belief that sharing this type of knowledge to the general public is not at all good for the resource itself. When communicating info on spots, please keep it to email or a PM." Just saying!
  7. I'm sure I already posted that one Dave but that's okay cause it's worth listening to again.
  8. I can't make it tonight but I can tell you for sure those that do will have an awesome evening. I'll let you square up with me another day Dave and JP.
  9. I actually had a chance to go see that last night Dan, up front floor seats from a buddy, turned it down for personal reasons but I hear it was a good show.
  10. There are a number of items Cabelas can't ship to Canada, it's not their choice it's asinine laws (ie: fly tying material/animal parts and rod winding finish/epoxy) But I do order plenty from them and have never had an issue. I always do my orders by phone and I know exactly the cost to my door when I hang up, I like that, no surprises!
  11. It's like deja vu everyday!
  12. I've seen it before, on trout and bass. Can't explain it though.
  13. One of my top faves of all time. Absolutely Awesome. Too bad Edwin thought he could do better.
  14. You had me confooosed too for a minute.
  15. Some days it just feels like this.......
  16. Cheers Buddy, I hope you're having a good day!
  17. Absolutely (Thanks Wayne) and worthy of linking again. http://www.wgyoungfu...nce.php?id=1053
  18. Marching to the right..... Turns left and marches back.... Repeat as needed.
  19. Like everyone here who knew him, I too am stunned and saddened. It's not only a loss to us here but to the world as a whole, John was a one in a million guy. Top drawer all the way! My sincerest condolences to his family, friends and all who he has touched with his kindness.
  20. Yep and I explained all of this to him yesterday.....
  21. It's today already! Cheers mate, bottoms up.....
  22. The two balnks I'm building for flat lining are both Lamiglas (glass) 8.5' steelhead blanks rated for 8-12lb test, medium fast action. The light rigging rod also a Lamiglas (glass) is also 8.5', but it's a flyrod blank, 8 weight, totally parabolic but truly too soft for flat lining.
  23. Can't say I blame you Cliff, good chance Roy will be in the package.
  24. Handles are generally personal preference Brian. Some guys like rings so they can put (move) the reel where they like and some guys want fixed cause they know exactly where they want the reel. Personally I stay away from rings on all my rods with the exception of ice rods.
  25. GoneFishin has it right as did you John but you weren't first, I will treat you to a beer though next time we get together. GF, PM me your address and I'll get them decals out to you. Oh and it ain't a new "itch," just adding some new options to the arsenal.
