  7. Now theres some thing to be said about the potato is'nt there .....
  8. I sure do remember SlowPoke , my first new ride for dirt was a Honda 70 , then came along the Suzuki three wheelers and they were blowing us off the trails , after that i switched over to having two of those instead , then i for one was never so happy to see them put four wheels on'em , if they had'nt i don't think there would be any thing left of me for my retirement , thease days i have a 400 Suzuki that i bought new in 06 that dose me well , even still when it hit's the trails at Bancroft with the boys , but now my real love is for an Articat Prowler for the side be side .
  9. X'2 ON THE GOOD ADVICE GIVEN HERE ..... plus i for one like running with the folks who invented the ATV ..... ( SUZUKI ) .
  10. Then i wish both of you luck for now , hope theres a report to fallow later ... have fun .
  11. Nice one Dan . My brother just got one the same the other day but only in Red this time , he called last night when he got home from work to say that on his way home he had to stop off at the truck lettering place and wait while they took all the Ford emblems and decals off it and decaled it back up as Radio Flyer ....... no kidding , we're waiting for him to send us a picture to see what that looks like ... lol
  12. I for one perhapes along with others do like to make things if i can and see them work in the end , so heres a few pic's of one i started to make ..... its a replica of the home made ones found on the St Lawrance river in eastern Ontario....lol , for this one you need two plactic bottles , one larger pop bottle and one doggy treat plastic jars , cut the end off the pop bottle carefuly with a good sharp some thing and cut the bottom end out of the plastic jar , then you glue the neck of the pop bottle into the bottom of the plastic jar like a funnel going into it backwards , take the lid for the jar and drill it full of holes ........................in the end it should look like this..pic #3 , with plastic ties you then tie it to a peice of iron grill and fasten on a rope ....... good luck .
  13. I had some thing the same going on with mine second last time out , when i got looking around when i got home , i found the throttle linkage nuts at the holder had rattled off a bit and let the linkage move back and fourth , i wrenched it back to where it should be and the next time out she was back on the money , probaly this is not your problem .................
  14. I am unable to find any thing this year in my spots each time i've been out , maybe i need the bigger boat in the water ... lol , thought the next time out i'd try fishing every where on Simcoe i'v never fished before and see what that dose for me .
  15. Fisherman & jedimaster ........ we just might be starting some thing here .. lol . Davey Bouy i got ya on that one .
  16. I have'nt forgot about you and your generious offer , i just have'nt had the time to get the boat back in the shop and get back at the sanding , been to busy with work coming in . I like those chairs their awsome , you don't know how long i looked at bar stools like that ... every thing i saw you knew they would'nt stand up , they make 'em so cheap ,but i can see where some thing made like that would .
  17. Becuase of those seats is why i think i can get away with some good quality ones of the same put in their place , every new boat seat i looked at was so expensive for what they are made of ..... plastic and aluminum appossed to the ones i bought made of steel and wood , we'll see how long they last in time .........
  18. Well to be honest Skeeter , the old ones i took out of the boat were swivle house chairs , they were still solidly mounted to the pedestals but did'nt look new any more
  19. Wheather i am doing some thing conventional or unconventional with fishing or boats , i know this is one of the right places to come to and share an idea and get ideas . There are many smart minds here that are always willing to look out for ones best intrest and that i like . I thank every one for their inputs as they always do help funny or not .... lol . Thanks every one .
  20. Cool Brian ........ , but they don't swivle
  21. As you can see here Woodsman , you could mount them to the metal frame thats there or right to the wood that the bottom of the seat is made of , i suspect since the boat is quit lager it will never go that fast to give you a rough ride , atleast thats what i am thinking
  22. Now the plan is to get a pair of vinyl ones the same to go out on the fishing deck ,
  23. I got to save as much coin as i can for the gas to run the dam thing Brian ...... lol .
  24. Hec i don't think so Dave but they are goining in the cabin where it should always be dry with glass windows all around and the fiberglass roof
