  1. Fish Ontario carries the Pheonix stuff. Call first though.
  2. I broke a Clarus a couple years back and returned it to BPS with out a receipt and they gave me a new one. I don't know if things have changed. For the reel, just bring it to Aikman Sporting Goods Repair.
  3. 11 and 211
  4. Fish Ontario has/had the small compost worms, give them a call first: 905.832.4566 Hope this helps.
  5. Thanks guys. I ended up going to RadioWorld after all. It was $10 more but I would have spent that on gas. Thanks again.
  6. I heard Queensway shut down. I'll call shortwave. Thanks.
  7. I looking for a CB Radio shop other than Radio World. Does anyone know of one? Vaughan, Hamilton, Barrie, etc... Thanks in advance.
  8. I have a 50A reset breaker for a 24v 67Lb motor. No fuses on mine that I can see.
  9. I got mine done by Custom Covers by Robert in Brampton.
  10. I have a boat and lucky no problems yet. Except for maintenance. Fingers crossed.
  11. I was thinking of the velcro, but decided just to get a better bag shipped from the UK. Thanks for the help.
  12. Thanks FishnWire, I called 4 upholstery places near me and they all said it's pretty pricey to do and not really worth it. Thanks TC I called they don't even want to do it. $150 down the drain, but thats fishing. Thanks for the help guys.
  13. I have a carp bait bag that the main zipper broke off. I want to replace it with a new large tooth zipper. I went to some local places today and no one is able to do it for me. Does anyone know where I can get this done?
  14. I agree that the UL reels don't cast far at all. I using a 1500 Capricorn and TD Pro on my UL rods and love the set ups.
  15. Probably not. Marine epoxy might be an option though.
  16. Yup!! 2 moose, 2 deer + extras, and turkey. I almost had a heart attack. Bonus I have to renew my card in Dec. for 3 years fishing and small games. But it's all worth it, or is it. LOL.
  17. Spro frog all the way.
  18. It does work, I've caught carp on Mepps. A friend of the family fishes G-bay a lot for carp and only uses spinners. I can't see why trolling a slow speeds won't work. As for the MNR, well I can't help you there.
  19. On a boat to cover water, I like to use the Booyah crappie spinner baits or just plain spinners. Second would be a slip float and 1/80th jig head with a tube.
  20. I use Suffix fast sink crankbait mono. Only problem it's hard to find here, last place I seen it was JB's.
  21. I did what Buck mentioned with my duck boat, preped the boat, sprayed the on the paint. I use a utility trailer and the paint doesn't last. For me it was a waste of time and $$$.
  22. Team Daiwa Advantagle HSTA, awesome reel. For a hi-speed budget reel the Aggres is nice. I do like the Tierra to. Shimano also has some nice reels.
  23. Thanks for the advice JP, I'm mostly throwing medium cranks. And I'm sold on the flouro line. Now for the search!! Jedi, I'll check out the Quantum. Thanks
  24. Thanks for all the quick replies. I might have made a mistake with the "I don't want to spend crazy cash", I should have mentioned that I don't want to spend more than $500. Anyways. Let me get this straight, I'm looking for a a moderate action rod, preferably with mixed glass for a softer action. The ideal reel should be a lower gear ratio, preferably 5.3. Best line for this application would be either braid with flouro leader or straight flouro.I think I got it, I'll start my search tomorrow. Thanks again for all the help, Daniel.
  25. When it comes to crankbaits I have many, but I hardly use them. This year thats going to change. Right now I'm using spinning setup, but would like to get a casting setup. I am not looking for Shimano products, sorry, but for the reel I would like a Daiwa, the rod I'm really not sure what to look at, line I'm thinking mono but I could be wrong. So can someone recommend a reel, specific rod, and line type and strength? For prices, I don't want to spend crazy cash.
