  1. Bigger is better as a general rule for the wire NOT FOR THE FUSE!!!,,,,Please use recommended fuses for the size gauge wire being used,,,a circuit breaker is the same as a fuse but is reusable where a fuse is not!

  10. ok step one!! turn off all accesories and take key out of ignition,,,,disconect either battery cable and conect a test light inbetween the two terminals,,,,if th light illuminates,,,you have a draw,,,the next step would be to either pull fuses or diconnect anything that uses power untill the light goes out,,,then you've found your draw!

At the present moment i have a kicker plate attacted to my boat on which i run a four hp fourstroke...now the question is,,,is it safe to trailer it while still attached,,i did so last year on short trips (10-30km),,but am i risking damage to the transom?? i can't find any info on the subject...please advise!! Do you trailer with motor attached??

  23. gotta remember guys if a battery goes dead it can take up to 24 hours or longer for it to start taking a charge again...doesn't mean that the battery is toast,,,,but not on a high amp charge a trickle charge,,,,i would try to keep it on charge for a timeframe to see if it comes back,,,all battery's that are stored still need maint about once a month throw a trickle charge on them for 6 hours
  24. I have a pair of scotty manuals and wouldhighly recomend them,,,all sorts of mounting for them too,,,as well what i like is that they flip up so they are not hanging while motoring o docking!
