  1. Lol. Hard to throw up gang signs with a 7' St Croix in the hands
  2. That is great to hear. One thing I have noticed, is that small town communities seem to instill a better sense of integrity, values and morals than the larger populated centres.(I grew up in Prince Edward County and now live in Pickering). IMO, your son did a very stand up thing that would NOT have happened in a place like the GTA. That wallet would have been lucky to be thrown in a mailbox after the cash was taken. Again, Kudos to you and your family.
  3. Where are you from? City or Country? Kudos:thumbsup_anim:
  4. 3 days and counting. No Wives, no kids (we all have 3 yr olds) just us vs fish!
  5. That's just plain MEAN:clapping:
  6. I added mine to my home insurance. The Co-operators have an extra rider on the policy that allows me to do it. $1000 Ded. Basic Insurance per yr, Liability was $48. Fire, theft, Damaga and Liability was $98 yr I have a 93' Fisher SV 3 SC. Paid around $5k for it, I am assuming price goes up with the value of the boat though.
  7. That would be pretty sweet, but it will just be the 3 of us. I will also get a trophy made up later in the yr, Try to keep this going. I believe this will become a tradition:thumbsup_anim:
  8. So we decided on what the bet will be. Losers have to go up on Stage at the Boo...Figured that we will be in a boat and handling bait and fish all day, our wives wouldn't be able to pick up their scent........JK, We decided that the winner will get green fees, beer and wings from the runner ups. Since I do not plan on losing, does anyone have any tips for the BOQ (telegraph Narrows) that they can share?
  9. The one in Woodbridge is opening up at HWY#7 and 400. (Chrislea and Portage Pkwy) it will be sharing a building with the Brick Supercentre. What will the one in the Shwa do to a place like Gagnon's?
  10. Had friends get Married at Barcelo Playa Tambor in Costa Rica. Stunning is the word. It is far enough out of the way as to be not too busy. There is a golf course on site, as well as a nature walk, had crocs in the river (fenced off) and monkeys in the trees. Scarlet McCaws were flying around like Seagulls do here. The activities and excursions were great. Volcano tour, Zip lines (awesome) ATVing.... Deep sea fishing was pretty sweet. We caught some sailfish, I caught a huge ass Rooster fish. The giant mantas were amazing, seeing a huge ray break the surface, I will never forget that. Also, when we were out on the ocean, the water was flat...we ended up in a giant pod of dolphins 500+. FYI, I still haven't forgiven Erika for the timing of the wedding. 3rd period, 10 mins to go in the Gold Medal Hockey Game.
  11. I did a quick search on the googleator See if this helps? http://www.plumbinghelp.ca/howto_island_vent.php
  12. Is the sink the only thing that is plugging up? Like the previous poster said, stack vent. Are your pipes exposed? Are they copper (my assumption) or ABS plastic ? If they have drained and you have access to them. Have someone turn on the taps when you are near the stack. You should be able to hear water going through the pipes. This may lead you to the blockage of there is another one.
  13. How long did you let the liquid plumber sit?
  14. i love the suggestions. There will be a trophy, but not until after labour day. Also, I will definately be posting some pics. i may even have pics of the other 2 guys wearing Sumo suits washing my car:rofl2:
  15. I like the trophy idea. Hmmm, I wonder how the wife would feel when I take down our wedding pic and put this baby up
  16. So who bites harder on the new shiny lifelike tackle? The fish or the Fisherman?
  17. I like it!...Why did i just get the Subaru Forester commercial with the Sumo guys pop into my mind

  19. Good idea. Unfortunaltley I have a small bit of O.C.D. They are meticulous....that and I'm not gonna lose. The other idea that i floated was the losers will have to cover Green fees, wings and beer at a late date
  20. I would ask for a Salary. Work out what would the yearly income would be at the present wage, and make a FAIR increase on that(Hrs worked, how busy is the store, new duties/increased workload). For example, if he was making $12hr, 36 hrs week x 52 wks yr = $22xxx. If the responsibility was alot, I would say $25-$26k per yr. It is not a large raise. The other option would be, forego the raise and negotiate an extra paid vacaion off per yr. go from 2 to 3 or 4 wks.
  21. One wife is enough....i really don't want to disappoint someone else
  22. Here goes, 2 friends and myself will be heading down to the BOQ on the 29th for the day. Being slightly competetive, we are trying to come up with a decent bet on who gets the largest fish. Last time we went out, there were only 2 of us and the bet was: Whomever gets the largest fish, the loser has to cook dinner for the winner and his family. We enjoyed a nice steak and salmon dinner. What made this even more special was that I won on his home lake. Cheers J
  23. When do you think some of this stuff will end up on Kijiji? Someone flipping it to make a quick buck.
  24. i just picked up a spool. 150yds..woohoo:thumbsup_anim:
