Good to hear. On a similar note, Moon's Bait in Deseronto hooked us up this week as we landed many walleye with some size to them as well, our first time on the BOQ. Wayne I've owned both, the normark in my opinion is the better of the two. Also, make sure you buy the one with the circular handle/top as opposed to the grip handle. You can really put alot more leverage on the circular top and its great for "partner-drilling"...you can just fly thru holes with minimal effort when two people rip on it. 8" is the way to go in my opinion.....never know when a trophy is going to bite!

I usually catch my own bait, frogs or crayfish, occasionally when I need/want them, but if there is substance for the MNR doing what they are doing I don't have any problem with it. Forsure, we do not need anymore invasive species or diseases spreading to our natural resources such as gamefish which I'm sure as members of this forum we all hold dear to our hearts. If this means bait store owners suffering as a cost of these measures enforced by the MNR this year, this is the price to pay "we" must pay to sustain these important resources. Without these resources or gamefish, baitstore owners would have nothing to sell in the first place. As with any business, store owners are going to have to adapt to changing business environments that every area of business encounter.

Did you weigh the pike by chance? I don't even want to hazard a guess at its weight?

It may work and to the best of my knowledge the product or similar products available at BPS in the states are illegal to use in Ontario/Canada.

Thanks for letting me know how much I really miss the hard water.... Enjoyed the pics though, looks like a great day you had!
