"6 Schlitz.....or whatever's free" just like my boy Rodney Farva.

haha beat me to that one. If lakers looked like that I wouldn't go fishing for them or maybe even swimming for that matter!
-
Peanut M&M's preferably the Oger "Shrek" sized ones if you can still find them.....and sweet and spicy beef jerkey. Generally a few canned beverages from the store with the big orange sign come along for the trip as well!

Wouldn't get too bent out of shape over the bill.....no way in hell it goes through. I love how people who have never gone fishing or hunting like to think they know whats best for the rest of us and the poor tasty delicious fish. We should go down to their office in TO and have good ol' fashioned fish fry in front of their building.

Dude....you are my hero....report rock'd as per usual.

BPS Johnny Morris Signature Series Baitcast Reels
Abberz replied to JustinHoffman's topic in General Discussion
I've used the Morris a bit, but I prefer the Quantum Energy PT's or Tour PT's personally. Better value for your money in my opinion. -
Photo reports will never be the same thanks to you guys!

No Shelly and Courtney?.......JJ I wish I could have someone guide me every episode. Bob is the man!.....plain and simple. CDN Sport Fishing - "Barb" all I have to say. Fishing the Flats - Why do I want to watch a fat poaching Canadian fish in Florida? New Fly Fishmer - Really not in to fly fishing Going Fishing TV - "Shorelunch" repeated 10-15 times an episode plus he's a racist check out his blog. Honourable mention to Fish TV and Extreme Angler!

The United States did not find Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq because Chuck Norris lives in Oklahoma. Google thing was hilarious.

I feel you pain. I used to work for an affiliate of best buy.....I'm sure you can guess which one. PSP is joke. Sales associates will go as far as lying to sell you on their plans. With the high turnover in retail sales the associate who sold you your Tv probably doesnt even work there anymore. They are paid 15% commission on that 500 plan and roughly 75-100 commission on the tv, therefor they can double their salary if they can get you on the PSP plan. Here's the catch too, if you are a sales associate not selling PSP to 15-25 percent of your customers....GOODBYE....so thats why people lie and so on. Knowing what I know now. Don't pay to fix something that isn't broke when its brand new. The $500 PSP would have paid for the new bulbs....which do go from time to time....it usually is based on usage. With electronics if they are going to have problems they usually go within the first year which is generally covered under manf. warranty. Conclusion dont ever buy PSP.

Johnny B - There is a Marina with a good launch, they charge $10 to take the boat in and out. I'm not sure as to how far it would be coming from TO, being a Kingston boy, but you take the 401 to the 62 exit in Belleville and go north, crossing 7 until you come to Weslemkoon Lake Rd. on your right. From the 401 its about an hours drive to get to the lake....25 mins of that would be travelling down Weslemkoon Lake Rd. Bucketmouth - There isn't much slop as the water is tea coloured and it doesn't allow for a whole lot of weed growth, but timber, docks, dropoffs and what not worked best. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. It was only my second time on the lake and apparently 7-8 pound fish are caught every year and plenty in the 5-6 pound range are quite common. Litterally every other bass was over 3 pounds last weekend. From what I know the bass fishing is and has been better than average on the lake for many many years. As far as gamefish go, there are Largemouth and Smallmouth bass as well as Lake Trout found in the lake.....no pike or muskie which in my opinion makes the lake what it is. If a few of you guys do venture off and enjoy what Weslem has to offer please practice catch and release and if you do harvest any bass there is never any reason to keep anything over 2-2.5 lbs as the smaller fish are plentiful and better eating in my opinion. Cheers

Got away for the long weekend with a few close friends at Lake Weslemkoon.Fishing was great all weekend with 2-5+LB fish caught and plenty over the 3 pound mark. Plenty of action on senko's, 4-inch tubes and the big bass coming on the jig and pig. Enjoy the pics. Largemouth was 3.8, Smallie was 3.7 First 5 pounder of the weekend. From left to right - 5.2/3.7/3.8/4.0 Big fish of the weekend 5.6lbs Nice Sunset to end the weekend. All fish were kept in the livewell for photo's and released shortly there after. Here's a few more big bass from July off Buck Lake. My boy Matt didn't even lose his cigarette bringing this 5lb largie in. Same nite I dipped into a 5lber as well. Hope you guys enjoyed the pics as much as we enjoyed reelin' them in.

BASSIN QUINTE WITH JOHNY BASS (PIC HEAVY)
Abberz replied to snagmaster's topic in General Discussion
Looks like you had a solid day boys....I guess the BOQ isn't a walleye ONLY hotspot! -
Yum baits are slightly more, but less than Yamamoto custom baits and work better than any other I have fished....I'm not sponsored, but I'm happy to pay for them as they put fish in the boat every time I'm on the water.
-
Lake Erie is way too good for walleye! Good stuff, hope the new boat keeps bringin' in beauties like those!
-
Quite possibly the best report I've ever seen. I can't get over that pike hammering that walleye!
-
If you can find a Costco the Kirkland (Costco's own brand) are pretty good and cheap. I picked up the biggest deep cycle they have for 59.99 on sale two years ago......no complaints yet.
