    Agreed!That's why most of us love braid on a baitcaster. I would never change line on them.IMO.

    Great season you had. I enjoy it as well. The fall is great with the steel and salmon action. Now lake fishing till then.

    I carry a lighter. that flame to melt the tag end doesn't hurt. A friend has that battery operated element .That works well!

    I understand that. There still seems to be a good variety of other fish as well. What can you do once a invasive fish gets in and gets a good hold.Same can be said about other lakes and different species of fish taking over that were not there at one time.
