Lol that's a bummer having that much snow still lol. I love the winter but the soft water season is so much more enjoyable for me. I seen a Nice sized deer on the side of the road last night lol.

I know when I'm in the store by looking usually but never remember the number as you can tell lol. But I do enjoy them they work well for bass to.

Spoons, Jointed Rapala try different things you never know till you try it. But spoons and jointed rapalas work well #9 I believe I forget what it is

Yea I love this time of year perfect weather for fishing not to hot not to cold and the air is so fresh I have noticed more birds around in the area but I really enjoy seeing the Bald Eagles when I was a kid we only could see them when we were up north but not anymore.

I don't know anything about fishing out there but I do envy you right now lol. I wish I was going to BC to fish/snowboard. Have a good trip hope to see some pictures.

Yea you may be able to get a few in closer to shore and maybe out deeper depending on your lures you are using if you don't want to invest in Downriggers I would say get some rod holders and a Dipsy Rod with a Line counter reel and just use Dipsy divers not to much money the rod would be the most but well worth it living that close to 50 point. It's awesome out there in the spring. I have seen people use Dipsy's with a normal MH 7' + rod but I wouldn't recommend it you can't tell what depth your at and probably break the rod if something hits hard enough.

Nice, that's a good sign I have seen a few Bald Eagles in the past 2 weeks out at the Lake and it's nice to see that they are making a come back to the area.

I'm loving this warm weather that we are having right now. I only wish that the water levels would raise in Lake Erie so I can get the boat out there. I don't think I have seen Lake Erie this low In years.

There are a couple on sale at bass pro shops right now you can get for cheaper. I don't wear mine when I'm just using the minn kota or still fishing lol. But always when I'm moving I put it on. I got one for 50 Bucks a few years ago and it's nothing fancy no foam up your back just around your waist to your ribs. If your trolling or just moving, going for a boat ride its good you can still fish in it just if your casting all day it would be annoying but still worth it. I have the one that's like Bass Pro Shops Deluxe mesh top that's on sale for $39.94 right now. Just as good as any other of that style. As for the inflatable ones you can get a couple that are Bass Pro Shops brand for $99.94. Decent ones to and they all have to be Certified so they're all going to work the same to an point.

Lol that's awesome, I'm happy to see that he didn't get the money. I bet he also made a few enemies lol. I was fishing a tournament a few years ago in Long Point for Bass and some guy was getting checked by the MNR and we talked to them after the one guy only had a conservation license and not a sport fishing license they had to throw some fish back. In his words he lost the tournament because of it lol.

Hey it's to bad that it was your last for the year but nothing like ending it with your son. I don't know the feeling from your side since my girls 15 months but I do know that some of my best memories were my grandfather and my musky trips.

That's Insane it's hard to imagine. Makes you think New Zealand recently, Then japan and today they had a small earthquake in near Montreal nothing horrible but also not to common to have such activity happening all around the world.

Hi all I was just wondering about fishing the Grand River from York to Cayuga I was just wondering if any one could give me some advice on fishing there, do you think that there is anything in that area right now? If so what is there that is open at this time of the year. If there is any fish open and you would like to give some advice on what to use that would be great but I also understand if not lol. But if I know what is in that area right now I can figure it out what to use on my own as well. Thanks a lot. Chris

I'm not to sure about Lake Superior but I used to stay up at St. Mary's Bay off Lake Superior near the Edmond Fitzgerlard Shipwreck. I used to catch a lot of white fishing there.
