NF -Noma Xmas lights from CT complete garbage?
manitoubass2 replied to livinisfishin's topic in General Discussion
Yeah geoff, our local CTC does the same. Very good service on returns. Even if ya catch a manager on a bad day its prettly easy to sway them being polite. Not one of those stores were a dood has to freak out to get a return. I already know in advance ill be able to return my 4 boxes no issues at all. -
All it took was a few days! Drivimg by the government dock on the east side of lake of the woods this am and its forming ice

They certainly are fun to watch! I noticed maybe 5 or 6 mistakes that were minor, and montreal made the same mistakes. Other than that is was high flying hard hitting skilled hockey And how exciting is it we figured out how to enter the zone!!!! Hahahahahaha its about time!!! The rookies look great, thats a line that could tally some points as the gel abit. Now Price. I wish every goaltender would study him, especially his lack of movement when its not necessary. Being a big NHL fan I watch goals everynight created by TOO MUCH MOVEMENT by the goaltenders ie. Slap shot from the point, going top right or left corner, the goaltender butterflies and catches it or blocks it. If the rebound isnt controlled this results in numerous unnecesary goals. Price, stand up, barely moves, only exerting enough energy to CATCH THE DARN PUCK Its a beautiful skill to watch. Imo hes not the best goalie in the league, hes the best player in the league

Awesome! Thanks bud! Yep, same email, ill pm it to ya just to make sure. If I remember correctly with a transfer youll have to provide me the answer to the security question? The firs season I held the event was wicked! We raised alot of money and donations and it all went to kids accept the 50/50 draw. Then two years of crappy ice suspended the 2nd and 3rd yer of the event. Now this year im hoping we can do it bigger and better! With one major change... MOVING IT TO LAKE OF THE WOODS!!!! super excited, got some good local companies involved already! And lots of friends to help out! I staerted early this year in hopes to gain some more sponsorships, donations etc Event is moved to second weekend in february -
I have no issue with it. When I coach 1 second means the game is still on. Finishing your checks. And its jvr's dumba.. going head first into the boards, he wasnt even hit, he got a lil nudge and lost his edge. Glad he wasnt hurt thought hew my favorite leaf. How bout the blackhawks last night! Boy way to blow a big lead vancouver!

Yeah bunk, I mentioned it my post. Id like to re read it as it was an awesome story/adventure. You got a link handy? If not Ill have to scour my emails to find it. We actually met up in my hometown. Originally he was gonna camp in my yard so we could fish, but my work schedule changed like 3 times and I didnt want to inconveniece him as he had his trip well planned out. We hit the emo inn for breakfast, shared some stories, and I brought him a lb of smoked sturgeon and in return I got some canned moose that looked horrible but was amazingly tasty! Great guy and boy im glad his US customs experience worked out, that coulda been real bad!!! Found it! Have a read folks its a good one! http://dougsgreatwesternroadtrip.blogspot.ca

Nipissing to remain open for ice fishing
manitoubass2 replied to farsider's topic in General Discussion
The cheif has no say in or power to enforce laws. Only police/MNR do. These policies etc must be past by council The only thing a chief can do is whats called BCR. Which is short for band concil resolution. It means if you dont follow the rules/laws and are considered nuissance you can be barred from the rez. But its next to impossible to hold it up against a band member of that reservation. They basically get sued everytime and it rarely sticks so its rarely even considered as a solution. -
Hahahahahahahahaha

Well put Brian! Winter hit us last night and boy could you tell on the highway! In a 15 minute drive we seen 5 vehicles in the ditch, all seemingly harmless but one brand new dodge upside down with the paramedic on sight. Hopefully that fella or lady is OK! My year has been a blast as well! Fished some new waters, missed a few planned trips because of a shifting work schedule, but tonnes of hreat fishing thats for sure! I also got to meet a few people from OFC(akashag & wormdunker) and that was really cool! Not sure where akashag is now but if I find the link he put together one heck of a blog during his cross canada adventures! One thing bittersweet about this season is the kids are growing up. Hockey, basketball, homework, friends etc has had me fishing solo alot more this year. I miss having the team with me but it is what it is. And I feel that sediment about being out in nature, on the water, all alone. Its very peaceful and has basically become my therapy. I also picked up this lil habit of talking to myself or singing by myself out in the middle of knowhere lol. Ill also remember this year for the silly injuries, almost dying twice on the water, and smashing all my good rods in the SUV after a round of golf hahaha. That one hurt... Was and still is one great year! Great post btw Brian! Miigwich!

This has become nothing less than a pissing match. OI your probably accurate on nip netting. Here and on LOTWs alot of netting isnt that way. My mother in laws hubby checks nets 3 hours on the dot. Good thing too because youde be shocked how many fish can be square hooked in 3 hours. 1000 crappie, yep. 10 or 15 trophy musky, yep. 15lb walleye, yep. In manitou a few jerks leave nets in for days. Guess what that gets ya??? A bad rap and cut nets. (Possibly an ass kicking too) -
