  5. Howah Jack!!!! Great job???? What was the measurment Simon! And I wanna see the pic lol Thats one busy boat but looks like a great time! 3 generations!
  6. What the? Lol Can you manipilute leptin and grehlin in a favourable manner?
  7. Ok, we'll call it discretion lol. And Ill always bring pfds but im not wearing one in a paddleboat. And JB, not inflatables, just good old school lifejackets.
  8. I should have worded that better. We both had PFDs they just were not on. And the grey area is a No pfd law is never enforced around here for non motored vehicles. Where I was was also where I swim, lol, and i sure as heck dont wear a PFD doing that!
  9. Use blocks of ice, not cubes. And follow the other advice, lots given here. Two bags of ice in a cooler does not last long.
  10. Once the boat stops off comes my PFD. Same with my kiddos. But that would probably be much different if I was fishing lake O or any big body of water. We use float suits at ice out and my kids arent allowed in the boat at that time(but thats also river fishing with strong currents. There seems to be some grey areas with COs as well. I got a warning last year on a tiny lake, 20ft from shore in a paddleboat, for no PFD. Off topic but fishing crappie from a paddleboat is fun??? And lol terry???
  11. Pardon my spelling, for some reason I cannot edit my posts lately
  12. Honestly I dont fish those snagless frogs often, and when I do Its usually a test to see if bass or pike ate active in the slop. The post about holding the rod at 11 oclock during retrieve is great! I have my own method and its similar abit. I loosen my drag, fish hits and I have to tighen my drag to set the hook. Similar concept, it makes you wait a few extra seconds. I like this method because the fiah feels no weight or pressure. Anyhow, I hate livetarget frogs. I find them the worst of the bunch. I honestly like the cheaper versions, like matzuo. But I also found some awesome ones at the great bear from a few companies ive never even heard of lol They dont puncture so easily and fish awesome. In dence weeds my go to is still a berkley chigger craw in black and red fleck, texas rigged and a bullet sinker. I can fish the top, middle and bottom with that rig and it flat out catches fish
  13. ^^^^??? Only for a few seconds though, dont wanna waste that meat?
  14. No real symptoms Lew so hopefully Ill be good (just freaks me out that it appears to be spreading). Glad you got those yellowjackets?
  15. Looks like Ill be heading in now. Just noticed one of my stings appears to be infected. day after I was stung in that spot I had a quarter sized red spot Stupid me I never bothered looking at it(as its near my hip), I look today and its about 8"s long and the only reason I looked aas because of how itchy it was
