  4. I mostly jig with my ice rods but do you tip ups also. Recently I purchased some large size sweedish pimples in chartreuse colour floresent green tipped with a medium size shiner. I found them to be a HIT with the pike. Now that I have an under water camera I was impressed to see there jigging action. I am sure they will work well with tip ups.I like the fact that the extra weight keeps your line straight and taught. I have never caught a pike with dead bait. Good luck sweedish pimples Rock
  5. Wow Paul(Clamp-It)take a look at this Tarpus Maximus on ski's. nifty set up. Wayne I remember the reports from last year should keep you well sheltered from the wind. Oh BTW my son and I got skunked on Mill Pond. The snot rockest were nowhere
  6. Don't forget the Habs are right behind the Sens in points. Just didn't like the comment about distinked society.Someone always has to drag politics into hockey. Another who thinks that ALL Quebecers think the same way.Another cheap shot.If it wasn't for people like me Quebec would have seperated.Just wish we could here about hockey and not those snarky comments about Quebec.Just trash I tell ya. BTW when the Habs are down I stick behind my team.I don't bash them cause i am truly 100% a Habs fan . I don't jump on and off the band wagon. Keep the political trash out of hockey. MTP
  7. Nice report and nice slabs of tasty fish .Hope the misses is not up for a bath. Just picked up an orange sweedish pimple myself. So far for pike they are awesome. looking forward to this weekends remaining reports. Nice Bass man
  8. Yup I here ya Lew it seems they are staring to compete for ratings .I enjoy the shows that give you tips on how to improve your fishing. Not the music. Although my new boat comes with a stereo it will be played when the boat is wide open. When I am fishin yes it will be turned off or be very low if I am trolling. If the electric motor is on I will be listening to just mother nature.
  9. I know why cause your away from the puter for so long. But I know that this year the camera will be safe lol. With that new floating Gizzmo we can count on more fishin reports from ya right Wayne

  15. I also have been considering Charleston Kenny but Bon Echo is one place I want to camp at.
  16. stay under 120kph and you should be safe.130kph will get you a ticket.I have seen it many times .Not me though usually get caught in the city where in a 50 zone do not go over 60kph. Remember speed kills
  17. Kevin when I first got my Lund SSV in 2004 on my very first outing the battery went dead at the launch.luckily I had cables in my car and boosted my boat with the trolling deep cycle battery .I now carry cables on board as back up .You can always count on your trolling battery as back up just in case.A set of jumper cables are light weight and don't take up alot of space.I am sure this might not be good for your deep cycle battery but hell if your stuck it does work. MTP
  18. Jat don't sweat it Buddy your not going to get a ticket. I drive 1000 to 1500 kms a week I often set my cruise control at 115 to 118 KPH I have gone by many radar traps in Ontario and Quebec and I do not slow down when passing the police. So far so good.I was told by an officer here in Quebec there are far too many people going over 120kph and thats when it is more worth the effort to pull you over more $$$$$$$$$$.Many drivers hover in the 100 to 120kph range anyone over that usually gets the ticket. Maybe one day I will get a ticket but for now it always works for me.
