they will definately work in stained/murky water.Probably wont deflect as much as the DTs.I'm going the hunting/fishing show at the end of the month.I will see if i can talk to a rep and get some info on them. Paul

I;ve tried the Clackin Raps last summer.Caught a couple LMB.They are noisy for sure.i could here mine coming 10 15 feet from the boat. I didnt use it much cause i wasnt sure exactly how to fish it properly.Spoke to one Pro, and its a jerk jerk crank retrieve that works the best. Love the DT series though Sail had em on for 3.99 last fall and i stocked up.

I GOT A 300 E for xmas. I havent used it yet, but it came well recomended by some of the members is here.I will be using it this year coupled with a 7 foot Compre.It looks and feels really well made. I cast a few times with a bell sinker in my back yard, and its smooth as silk.

Little truck for the wife eh Towing boat...boat launches...Are you SURE its for the wife Great small suv. 2 or 4 wheel, not sure about AWD. Had mine for 4 years never a problem. Lots of power to pull a boat, or small camper. Get the towing package.Drove mine often on the 417 in winter between MTL and Ottawa without problems.Lots of cargo space, and a good quiet ride.

Dont forget the height of the door opening.My Bro had to make his 8Ft so his Ranger and 175Merc would clear easily with room.Just check to be on the safe side

Well at least with all the snow this winter we may have water levels for normal next summer.They were deadly low here last year.Saw lots of people with busted skegs and props.

i eat Pangasius once a week. Very high in omega3. The wife called health Canada last year and what is sold here in Canada apparently comes from Thailand and meets Canadian requirements.They do however suggest not eating more than once a week due to the ever present Mercury content. It is suposedly no worse than eating fish from our own waters. Whether or not Health Canada is being truthful is another question all together
