stay far far far away from the new 870 they are going on there past preformance there are many types of shotguns out there browning winchester mossberg. i have owned alot of guns in the past .. and none not even my old winchester model 12 which was one of the best pumps ever made . mossberg has a good warrenttee program if neede.. i now own 3 pump shotguns and need to purchase another one for my youngest son . there 20 guage combo is great it comes with rifled slug barrel and even drilled and tapped for a scope

we use marshmellow with spawn we tie it in with the spawn and make loonie sized spawn bags and fish with them off the peirs. the only problem is you cant make to many at a time due to they get soggy and will not keep your bag off the bottom ..

my mother just got out of hers she is now saving about 200 a month.... it is a complete rip off...

the river is plum full of salmon at port hope .. my son has made a killing down there so far he has found a fillet knife and 3 10 .00 repalas keep it up and i wont have to buy him nothing for christmas .. the snaggers were out in full force there were 4 down there and they were so proud of there snagging they took pictures of there catch then released them .. i had my finger in the mnr tips line ... mabey next time

i only eat warm water species like walley and perch blue gill and crappy . however when i travel to the states i take my limmit of salmon down and when i leave i seem to always come home with about 40lb of stripper bass ..(i dont know who is coming out better on this deal

never fished there but never take leagle advice from anyone .. call the mnr in your area and ask for the enforcement supervisor he can explain the rule... he even overrides his co when it comes to interpretation of the fish and game laws ..

yes it is illeagle to net them but it is not illeagle to snag em in the mouth....if it is in the mouth it is fair game it would be hard to prove in court

out yesterday ... 300 feet of water .. down 35 the water at 35 feet was 53 degrees we caught 5 good salmon and releason 7 rainbows... we fished early am in the dark at the mouth of the ganaraska had 1 good salmon on and lost it .. at sunrise we headed to 300 feet of water ... there were salmon in the river .. we had a good rain today here so it should bring more salmon in the river ... good luck

HOLD ON GUYS >>>>>>>>>> it is a FACT ever since we started letting salmon over the dam (fishladder ) the rainbow run has SHARPLY reduced . i am a rainbow advocate and have worked at the ladder since i was 10 volenteer we have asked the bioligist and the lake ontario management unit to do a studie to see exacatly what has happend on the river but we used to close the ladder and not let salmon up untill about 15 or so years now the rainbow run has gone down hill..... and if you re read my first post the new warden will take care of the garbage that goes on ... what is the differnce between you fishing them in the river LINE DRIFTING THEM and some one snagging them it is the same thing ONLY you are better at FORCE FEEDING THEM THAN THE OTHERS and any one that says the bite when in the river going up stream is a LIAR ..... pray for some more rain before people finish there holidays so they can get a piece of the action ........
