OK I was not going to comment but to know me is to like me I fished that area from an early teen till my mid 40s Fished with some long time old timers who lived on Guest Rd BBP area Old Howard God bless is still fishing, a hardy newf ,,,his phrase was I start fishing when I stop seeing people fall thru the ice, and a damn good fisherman he is , taught me lots over the years BUT ONE OF THE STUPIDIST THINGS I EVER SAW WAS JUST 3 YEARS BEFORE WE CAME UP HERE WE WERE WALKING OUT FROM IBP a MILE FROM WHERE WE LIVED ON A WALKING CATTLE TRAIL TO FISH NOT FAR FROM SHORE WE ONLY WENT MAYBE 200 YARDS AND I TOLD MY SON IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN AS SEVERAL HUNDRED YARDS OFF TO OUR RIGHT WE SAW THE STEAM COMING OF A MAN WHO HAD MANAGED TO GET HIMSELF BACK ONTO SOME SKETCHY ICE AS WE TURNED TO GO BACK TO SHORE A SLEDDER WHO DID NOT NOTICE US TRYING TO WAVE HIM DOWN DROVE BY IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND BROKE ICE HE TO GOT BACK TO SHORE MINUS HIS MACHINE NAW summed it up the best,,

Brian we also got great deals from that store over the years, both stores, ,,kept our necks above water in the early 90s

Oiling after use helps for sure cure the pan make the bread and share the recipe, good luck to the both of you lol
