  1. Gerritt u are absolutely right on the complaint, the by law were just doing their job, and a neighbour was playing scrooge in the summer, hopfully the officials to be will put some of our tax payers dollars to good use in their next council meeting and make some ammendments to let kids be kids
  2. I agree with your reasoning but if some of our elected officials reflected back to when they were kids I am sure some of them were doing the same thing, its amazing with time how some people forget the past, my wife and I will still stop and buy lemonade or whatever, baked goods etc, we will always say u should be proud of yourself to work hard to make some money, some kids dont hear enough of that these days , there is always so much negative thrown at them, we sold pears, worms and lemonade in front of the house in Woodbridge and we never put any business out of business, you were learning some fundamentals of how to make money, how to interact with the public and how to do some simple budgeting, those things are great learing skills
  3. A 22 ? no......... A 410 ? no............ an 870 YES........... the only reason is I like it, its fairly affordable, quite reliable, easy to maintain, but in fairness do your homework, it is soooo easy to go beyond your budget , its like 2 footitice when owning a boat if u know what I mean, start out with something reliable and at your price point, then if you find u truly are enjoying the sport go from there, you can buy a lot of turkeys for 2000 dollars lol
  4. X 2 and yet people can get off with a bit of "stuff" on them or disrupt traffic with no penalties But some young people who show they want to work in this world and contribute back instead of becoming whinning leaches with their hands out get the gears, a little common sense goes a long ways

  19. smitty 55 What a wonderful surprise to end a challenging day, I am totally wanting to try these A farmer just outside Barrie years ago had a green house and he started the yellow low acid tomatoes from seed in his green house, became good friends as these were the only ones my wife could eat Funny enough our last frost is only about a week different from yours, and we come into 24 hours of day light for a couple of months so the plants are on overdrive during this period, we r good till towards the end of September, I will pm u tommorow , thanks so much for responding, needless to say the old mtd 8 hp tiller has not saw action since we came up here but it was part of my green thumb i could not leave behind ..We have to grow things in boxes which has been a huge learning curve but u just put a huge smile on our face for next year Again thank you John
