I agree the all star game has become a crock in itself.. None of the players actually want to play it anymore..They would rather have the weekend off to spend with family or on a beach somewhere warm. What the fans did with John Scott actually made it fun and interesting..Guess were back to the same old boring drab All star game..

I dont agree in the slightest..Were allowing 40 to 50 shots a night. Defence is extremely weak. Polak , marincin have been brutal.. give the kid one of their spots. How would they know if Corrado would be any better (or worse) when he only gets 1 game..The kid has lots of potential and up side.

The leafs look great as long as they dont have to play in their own end...lol We still need to work on our D.. Give young Frankie Corrado some ice time..The kid gets 1 game then sat again..They dont want to put him on waivers because Vancouver will take him back so we literally sit and wait..Meanwhile a young tallent goes to waste due to NHL politics..Its a shame to see the kid not play..

Thanks for the comments folks.. We sure had a nice time. Walleye is closed as of the 15 th so that will be it for this season...Its a good thing the Grand River is open until Jan 01! No boat on the Grand but shore fishing will do.

We decided to hit the Trent river for one last stab at the Walleye gold. We did great..My daughter once again is the walleye master..She landed 2 19 inchers in 15 minutes and lost what only be described as a LARGE golden snake in the night water. Im thing it was 26 to 27 inch walleye..She tried to horse the beast in and off it went before I could even get the net..She made up for it though.. We had a blast and caught some dinner..Thanks for looking and I hope your family fishing adventures are just as productive and fun! Lest We Forget.......

I was down thru the small town of Glen Ross. while there I stopped in to see what the river looks like down on Blacksmith lane. I was surprised to see quite a few folks walleye fishing down there. Has anyone here been? I may make the trip this weekend..Any advise? My boat is put away so id love a good shore fishing spot that could provide a good feed of eyes...
