  2. So I got a bunch of work done to my boat finally.. I went to do an update to the thread but I cant find it anywhere..Were a bunch of things deleted, or am I just not seeing how to access them? That thread had a lot of very valuable information in it..Please help me find it.
  3. Id pay whatever Stanps wants..Lou and Shanny should just ask him what he wants and write the damn cheque. He would be an amazing mentor for the 11 kids we just drafted plus the current kids we got a glimpse of in the last parts of the season.
  4. I know a stolen boat is no laughing matter, it could easily happen to any one of us..But this made me LOL
  5. Were in a nice park in Campbellford. on the trent river..we pay 2600 a year that includes taxes and our docking. we have a private dock that we maintain ourselves. As for the hydro we have our own separate meter and pay the bill monthly.. its less then $20 a month so its no big deal..As for guests. most parks have a guest pass that you can pay for. Ours is an extra $150 a year.. that allows up to 4 people in the park as guests at any given time, that are not immediate family written on the lease agreement..Any more then 4 you have to have them register and pay at the store. our park doesnt allow any trailers older then 20 years old unless your already in the park before the rule was set in stone. Another way around the the "guests" thing is when drawing up your lease agreement make sure you add most frequent guests as family on your lease agreement. You should look down that way.. rice lake trent river there are a few great parks from Havelock to Hastings and into Campbellford
  6. Ya for sure that fish in the fall would have been close to 8 pounds..Fish like that are rare for me. I have fished there for7 years now and that was the first over 24 inches for me..I catch a lot of walleye there so we don't go hungry while at camp...lol When I caught it I had this big old fat creek chub in the minnow bucket. Threw it on a drop shot setup anchored in 11 feet of water..Oh I also found out I need a bigger and better net...Yikes

I did and it was a HUGE slab of a fish to.lol I caught the Walleye in 11 ft of water on a giant creek chub. I had a tape measure on board measured it up at 27.5 took a pic and sent it on its way. Any ideas on what it weighed at all? Guess what weekend this pic was taken? lol She was fine with this one until I told her what kind of fish it was LMAO The Pike were caught by her.. Was going to do leaves sat and fish sun..Now were going to do leaves tomorrow and fish sat am...Should be interesting..Planing to fish the mouth of the river at the bottom of a sanctuary...Fishing for walleye doesn't open where my actual dock is for another week..I had a neighbor tell me that i cant even use my dock if I have fishing rods in my boat. 20. Hello to all online tonight.. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on finding a good creek with sucker minnows? I want to use them for pike in zone 17...I live in Brantford and Cottage in Campbellford. So places around these areas would be awesome..If you dont mind sharing please feel free to PM me if you want. I like to think im resourceful but I haven't yet been able to find a place. so any advice would be much appreciated.. also do you use a net or just barbless hooks and a worm?

  22. This is exactly what I was looking for..Perfect. Im thinking 12 volt would be best that way I can run it off battery and solar panel.. dave524 I have plumbed in a dual outlet at the bottom of the tank..One for gravity drip irrigation and one for a pump for a watering wand..I cant wait to get my hands dirty..I already planted onion beats radish and peas in the soil..Cant wait to see what I get.
  23. So I just recently picked up 2 1000 liter food grade totes. I have them hooked up to collect rainwater off my house. I want to install a pump and a garden hose for watering my garden. When i was a kid my grandpa had something similar in setup. I was a large tub full of rainwater with a pump and hose. What I cant figure out is that when you turned on the hose the pump automatically started and shut off with the squeeze of the handle. I would like to do this myself..Anyone here know how to do it? I cant seem to find any info online either.
