  1. I found it the hard way..I even searched for my posts and nothing came up..Thanks for the help
  2. So I was finally able to get back to work on the Smoker Craft...Yikes having friends that let you use their boat is both good and bad. Good is I haven't missed a beat..She is a smaller boat but I have spent the last 7 months in it on and off. We finally got back to the Smoker Craft though..Saturday was a big day..Finished the gutting, drilling of the rivets and started with sanding scraping and using the Goof Off on the heavy residue..I decided to go with Marine grade 3/4 inch ply..$500 for 4 sheets...Yikes. The sheets are cut and ready for sealing..Do you all think I should use primer or resin, or both? As you can see I got lazy and didn't bother to remove the center console..It is completely rotten on the bottom where that soft floor was so im going to try to rebuild it in place..Height of laziness I know...lol. I was able to get 90% of the carpet residue off with a orbital sander and a scraper. The rest had to be rubbed off. I went with Goof Off over acetone only because that's what I had on hand yesterday...lol Here are some pics..Ill try to do better at keeping this thread alive until i'm finished the boat.. Oh any good places to get marine grade vinyl at a reasonable price? I'm also looking for a good used fish finder as I cant afford to spend a ton on this thing right now..
  3. Cant find it even in the search.. it comes back with no results found..I have to be doing something wrong..
  4. So I got a bunch of work done to my boat finally.. I went to do an update to the thread but I cant find it anywhere..Were a bunch of things deleted, or am I just not seeing how to access them? That thread had a lot of very valuable information in it..Please help me find it.
  5. Id pay whatever Stanps wants..Lou and Shanny should just ask him what he wants and write the damn cheque. He would be an amazing mentor for the 11 kids we just drafted plus the current kids we got a glimpse of in the last parts of the season.
  6. I know a stolen boat is no laughing matter, it could easily happen to any one of us..But this made me LOL
  7. Were in a nice park in Campbellford. on the trent river..we pay 2600 a year that includes taxes and our docking. we have a private dock that we maintain ourselves. As for the hydro we have our own separate meter and pay the bill monthly.. its less then $20 a month so its no big deal..As for guests. most parks have a guest pass that you can pay for. Ours is an extra $150 a year.. that allows up to 4 people in the park as guests at any given time, that are not immediate family written on the lease agreement..Any more then 4 you have to have them register and pay at the store. our park doesnt allow any trailers older then 20 years old unless your already in the park before the rule was set in stone. Another way around the the "guests" thing is when drawing up your lease agreement make sure you add most frequent guests as family on your lease agreement. You should look down that way.. rice lake trent river there are a few great parks from Havelock to Hastings and into Campbellford
  8. nice!
  9. Ya for sure that fish in the fall would have been close to 8 pounds..Fish like that are rare for me. I have fished there for7 years now and that was the first over 24 inches for me..I catch a lot of walleye there so we don't go hungry while at camp...lol When I caught it I had this big old fat creek chub in the minnow bucket. Threw it on a drop shot setup anchored in 11 feet of water..Oh I also found out I need a bigger and better net...Yikes
  10. not that fish no, it wasn't a keeper fish..It went back to keep on keep-in on....lol

  12. I brought this very topic up here over 2 years ago...I was flamed as some sort of witch hunter.. Good luck with the Asses err ahh i mean the Masses.. no one cares so long as Kanye west keeps being stupid and pay day is Friday..I gave up the good fight.. I grow organically and source as much meat from local organic farmers..To heck with the rest..Who ever posted the graph linking Autism with organic farming..Please for the love of Christ, STOP IT..
  13. So we spent a TON of time on the Trent river the last 2 weekends. My 15 yo daughter sure did WAY better then me..However I got the monster Walleye. 27.5 inch fish on the river. My heart was pounding so hard I didnt know if I was going to have a heart attack or not...lol Has anyone ever caught a Crappie trolling for pike? I did and it was a HUGE slab of a fish to.lol I caught the Walleye in 11 ft of water on a giant creek chub. I had a tape measure on board measured it up at 27.5 took a pic and sent it on its way. Any ideas on what it weighed at all? Guess what weekend this pic was taken? lol She was fine with this one until I told her what kind of fish it was LMAO The Pike were caught by her.. I got nothing that day but the Crappie.. caught this little GEM trolling.. a little taste of whats to come. Nikita on guard lol went to get my ladder .. had to borrow a neighbors when i seen these beauty's Thanks for looking and I hope your time spent on the water is every bit as good....

  16. ill be on the Trent river.. we changed our date from leaving tom night to leaving tonight..We have a TON of leaves to get cleaned up.. Was going to do leaves sat and fish sun..Now were going to do leaves tomorrow and fish sat am...Should be interesting..Planing to fish the mouth of the river at the bottom of a sanctuary...Fishing for walleye doesn't open where my actual dock is for another week..I had a neighbor tell me that i cant even use my dock if I have fishing rods in my boat. I know better. but I thought id better ask the masses here before I tell him to stuff it..No lines wet just simply docking in a sanctuary, is this ok?
