Visit My WebsiteI finally got out last night for a hour and a half on Sturgeon lake and caught this 5lbs walleye . I also caught a few others but the bite was tough. Fish were caught on a bps 2" glow in the dark grub tipped with a worm. Cheers jeff

You will find lots of smallies, panfish and closer to kinmount the stock browns every few years. You can travel down it with a canoe but I wouldn't advise using a boat as its very shallow in spots and full of timber. In gooderham there is Gooderham (pine) lake that has walleye bass and apparently the odd laker and just north of there is glamour lake which has lakers,bass and rainbows. I'm going up to lake nosbonsing for the walleye opener and was wondering if anyone can help me out with some tips. I'm going to be probally trolling and jigging around the islands , flats and river mouths. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jeff

On sturgeon lake in front off my house the water is way up and still lots of ice for this time off year. This time last year we were watching eyes spawn.

I checked the river out 2 hrs ago and she's pretty muddy. Give it a day or two and you might have some luck. Cheers jeff

I have a team daiwa muskie rod ( which they don't make make anymore) and would suggest this rod to anyone if I can find one.

Bass pro sells flats sets and individual flies. Try the borski flies I had good luck on them in St. Lucia. Cheers jeff
