Hi all,
Got out for an hour and a bit the other morning after my night shift. No better way to wake myself up after 12hours awake through the night than my fishing pole, my dog, a pale of minnows, some hungry walleye and a can of red bull.
Slip bobber and minnows can be deadly at times, so can BIG minnows( 4" -6"ers) in the fall as the feed bags go on. Spot is 18'FOW, slip bobber with 3/8oz chartreuse jig, 1.5' fluro leader attached to mainline with a micro swivel.
All catch and release today, sometimes the hunt and feel of the tell tale 'walleye thud' is enough.
