Thing is though Shayne, you will live longer and be there for your pup with all that good exercise, I sit my large fundament on a skidoo while he runs and in the summer all i do is throw a stick in the lake for half an hour.

Hi all, Don't know who loves this time of year more….but we love our morning run. Well, Roloff runs, I just follow full of admiration and awe of my amazing , loyal, kind friend.

Hardly, I have not even broken out the snowblower yet. Its snowed last night, got about 15cm. The banana belt is on its way up here, they are calling for +3C Thurs, Fri and Sat!!!!?????? LOLOLOL…too funny Roy, Roloff had to stay home, would have struggled to keep up as we did 80KMs all the 8 miles to that lake, Sooki travelled under mums skidoo jacket.

Hi all, Got out for 2 hours tonight. Really wish I'd hooked my Gopro up for the ride down, my buddies new sled ROCKS! First spot we hit we stared at blank screens on the fish finder. We made the sometimes difficult decision to move with only an hour of daylight left. It paid off. My buddy got smacked by a 23"er as soon as we got there. They were out deep in 43'FOW. Then it just got frustrating. The fish would just stare at your bait, or hit and spit or get off halfway up. All decent fish too. I ended up with 2 over 20" and a 16"er, put the bigger one back. Lots of whitefish on the graph today, but they were even shyer than the walleye. VIDEO(taken on my crappy point and shoot)

My neighbour 'hot' smokes all my fish for me, I just give him one or two , works for both of us. It is delicious but its not the same as cold smoked 'cured' fish. We can get cold smoked salmon here, have some in the freezer right now….lol, but since I can literally drive off my lawn and get lakers within half an hour I want to try cold smoking myself…..especially since my wife is an execllent homemade bagel maker.

That is awesome Cliff….lol @ 'Bigger Cliff'. I love smoked salmon bagels, have always wondered if a nice pink lake trout or brooky/splake would compare, but could never find a cold smoking/curing system available to buy off the shelf. PICTURES PLEASE.

Hi all, I have to replace a soft roll up tonneau cover on my GMC Canyon as it ripped today, It did the job, but anything lower than -15c (which is all winter) and its a pain if not completely impossible to use. Any suggestions for styles, brands? Anyone have any experience with the tri-fold? Don't want to go over $1000 if possible.
