  1. ~~~~Oh how I know what your talking about, was on the Bog last year deep in the pads, and a a jet skier decided to buzz me. Then it was too late he reliazed he was in 3" of mud, and going no where. Wanted me to tow him out, told him no, I had poled my way in, and had to pole my way out, told him to get off and push. Met the Police boat on the water and told them where he was, and he would need help
  2. ~~~~Happy to read that you got out there. I was on the Bog on monday, with only 3 swillers on my Swamp Frog, and Losing a very nice LM on a spinner bait
  3. ~~~I can remmber back in the 60s the city had a Bass tourney there, every year for a week, and one young lad won it one year with a 5.5lb. LM. There is still some big Bass in there, but you have to be there just before Sun up, and stay well back from shore, or creep up very quietly.

  11. ~~~Lets just keep our heads, and stay cool. Could you imagine what action the Natives would take if the URBs(Ultra Right Baptist) put up road blocks in front on Casino Rama, they would want the Army to be called out to break the blockade,
  12. ~~~I was out there last Sunday, my partner, and I had 40 on landing 16 keeping 3. We launched at the Park (Sibbalds) cost $16. large ramp easy launch 5 boats at one time. Headed out past the fleet towards Fox to 80ft. saw lots of action on the bottom. We found Swedish Pimple was the bait of choice, and we had the area to our selves. The only problem you might run into this weekend is getting past the Natives (The Drums are Sounding) So Good Luck
  13. ~~~Was out on Sunday, with the other WalleyeDreamer a Polish buddy of mine, and his son, stayed away from the fleet, and ended up with 3 whities and losing 12 Top lure was the William's Silver/Gold hammared spoon, Shoal-Digger jigs, and Swidish Pimples

  19. ~~~Was up there yesterday, all the major lakes were wide open. Kas, Gull, Minner Bay, 12 Mile, Grass, and Lake Haliburton. Only problem you might have is finding a ramp with enough water to launch
  20. ~~~Headed up to Lake Haliburton, to my favorite Ice Phishen hole for some Lakers. The key to catching any phish was bring a boat. It was great getting to my spot with out walkng through 1.5ft. of snow and 4" on slush, and I Hate Slush. We stopped off at Eagle lake Adventure Bait and Tackle, to get our minnows and check with Terry as to what ramp we could use, the lake was down about 4ft. He directed us to a safe ramp and we headed out to our spot. we hit the 70ft mark and started marling phish on bottom, so we anchored and right off the bat WalleyeDreamer land his 1st. and by 1 oclock we had 5 lakes in the well releasing 2 others losing 7 and this was the bigest of the day caught by me Team work played a major part here WD doing his best not to land his Sons phish Want to thank Terry for checking out the ramps for us, and if the weaher holds, I just may be back up this weekend again with my boat
