  7. douG...we have a babysitter...our 15 year old daughter...problem is she wont be able to sit that night...we will make a few calls around. It's hard getting people on a Tuesday though... We'll do our best.
  8. Great report and pics Aaron! I'll have to catch that episode for sure. Cant imagine hooking into one of those fish though. They sure do have SHARP teeth!! LOL.
  9. Great report! Sorry to hear about the prop...hopefully the damage wasn't too bad. Dont all cameras make your fish smaller??? LOL. Thanks for the report...very well written!
  10. Great report pikeie! Congrats on the new species as well. I've had a carp hit a small mepps spinner before, so I'm not surprised you got one. Looked like a great day out there!
  11. 500?? That's more fish than I've caught TOTAL!! LOL. Great trip and great pics. It's great you got to spend that time out there with your son...he must have had a great time!
  12. Same here Gerritt...no go on the driftwood skin...all others seem to be ok though.
  13. What a great report mepps! The great thing about the internet though is that just because you move, it doesn't mean we wont see you around here. Great pics in this report...congrats on the first and last muskie of the season. Good luck with the move...hope to see a report or two once you're set up on the east coast.
  14. When bly is logged in the one in the top right corner appears, but when I log in they are not there.... Strange....
  15. mine have disappeared too..hmm...I didn't enable an ad blocker...a pop up blocker yes, but not an ad blocker....
  16. Good luck little angler! Have fun and be safe...looking forward to your report.

  20. Double post...oops...
  21. Gerritt...wow...sweet looking boat!!! A very nice upgrade from your last one. I'm sure you'll be boating lots of great fish in this one. Maybe you'll have to take me out again so I can catch a bigger muskie...LOL. Congrats Gerritt...this community really is the best as attested by you in your post....enjoy the maiden voyage...I'll expect a nice long report with pics of you in your new ride!
  22. I can promise this...if we dont catch any fish in the fall on the tribs, you'll at least have the cleanest leader/hook set up in the area!!! LOL. Seriously though...we'll definately head out in the fall....I'm no CANADIANCOPPER, but I can share what knowledge I do have.
  23. Bly and I cant make this one...weekday evening are hard for us...I dont even get home from work until 6 to 630pm (Whitby)...then to turn around and head back through that Toronto mess makes it difficult. That, and we dont have a babysitter. The September one sounds like a plan though! Beer, wings and fishing? How can one pass that up?
  24. Hey there! I seemed to have missed this thread...so sorry for late welcome. Welcome to the board! As far as your brother not wanting to be outfished by you....I regularly get outfished by bly and our 5 year old daughter. You just get used to it after a while...LOL. Glad to hear you took up the sport...the more you learn, the more you want to keep going out there! If you are ever in our neck of the woods, let us know!
  25. I dont use leaders for Walleye....even the incidental pike I catch seem to be hooked by the trailing trebles...their teeth dont usually get to the line.
