  6. Here you go.... http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/saisons/index_e.html I think the 2 to 4 month one goes out to October only....the longer range ones are not on there anymore.
  7. WOW!! 31" is a trophy size for sure! They don't really get much bigger than that. Congrats on a great PB.
  8. Sweet lakers!! Congrats on a great day on the water!
  9. A friend of mine camps there regularly. He's not a fisherman, but tells me when he takes his canoe, lots of the lakes are crystal clear because unfortunately they are "dead" lakes. Go searching...stuff on the net it pretty scarce for this area....wish I had more info for you.
  10. Now that's a good excuse for not fishing! Problem is, that isn't likely going to change too much in the near future!!! Congrats....he's looking like a champ already...a prime candidate for a lifetime fishing partner! Glad to hear everyone is happy and healthy....
  11. Now that's an awesome spot to fish!! Great job on the carp...they are quite scrappy and I enjoy fishing for them as well.
  12. Where BLy and I carp fish, there used to be a huge sunken tree and assorted other items in the water. If we could get them past that tree it was fine. We ended up using 30lb power pro mainline with 20lb power pro leaders. We literally horsed them past the snags and it seems to work just fine for us.
  13. Whoa....how did you know I was sitting on the couch?? Scary!!! Great stuff Garry...I'd love to be able to fish every day...I'm workin on it though!!!! My retirement plans include a place on the water and fishing all the time with Bly.
  14. I suppose you could fill it with ice and keep some drinks in there.
  15. Lemme guess...saw this on another board too?? LOL. This is a great tune
  16. Large and Smallmouth bass, muskie, walleye, and the usual suspects of panfish.
  17. Don't take credit for TJ's pike Glen!! Jeez...will ya ever learn?

  19. WOW!!! IS THAT REAL??? COOL!!!
  20. I have two close encounter lightning stories. I was on the phone talking with my friend who lived next door. We were looking at eachother through windows during a storm. A streak of lightning went between the two houses. All the hair on my arms and legs stood up just before we both saw it. The other time was during the dinner hour one summer. We heard a fizzle...then a huge SNAP! I looked down the hallway to see blue sparks coming from the door knob on the door leading to the basement. My dad got up and took a look...the wood all around the door was black...and smoking.
  21. Love this clip!!! It's actually an ad for Gatorade
  22. Hey there Roy! Hope you have a fantastic birthday, young fella!
  23. WOW!! Fantastic day out there!!! Congrats. Oh...get back out there and catch a bigger ski with your sign....LOL.
  24. LOL...the flow is up...should be some fish in there by now...
  25. Here's a video that shows what's left from a fishing rod after it's struck by lightning. http://www.tcpalm.com/videos/detail/man-st...lightning-vero/ Here's a pic I found on the web...pretty scary stuff!! The top half of fishing pole hit by lightning. All resin has been vaporized and nothing is left but fiber that looks like cotton candy.
