  1. I'll lower the odds a bit! lol Me is interested. Bet Dano and Terry as well..since they're in my boat.
  2. Looked like a great weekend out M or S !! Thanks for the pics !
  3. I told you there was nothing wrong with that net ! LOL And Lew looks like he's heard this story before.... Sounds like everyone had a great time and you got the bonus' of the weekend dear!
  4. Yep she'll be full compression thanks to the fogging....unless there's a hole in the piston. Compression tests can be misleading and while a cylinder may hold 79/80 psi it does so because so much oil is making it past the rings it seals them for the compression test. And for those that don't understand the 79/80 vs the general compression test gauge where you stick it in the plug hole and crank the engine... I do them by holding a piston at TDC and pressurize with 80 PSI. Generally a good cylinder will hold at least 70 of it. 75/80 is beautiful. 68/80 is when you start looking for problems.
  5. You sure cut the ice on OFC with that one ! LOL Wait 'till you need a spud bar to launch..then you're hard core! LOL Skunked or not...better than the day I had waiting for a customer that never showed up. Could have been out getting skunked myself.
  6. Another FINE outing!!! Hope you left a few for us on Thursday! LOL
  7. Rich...have you buried the evidence yet?
  8. Order it that way ! LOL You'd love the 9.9 Pro Kicker..electric tilt/start etc...but I think it's about $4600 + tax. Maybe be less now with the US dollar way down.
  9. Yes both steer from the helm and throttle control is there as well for the kicker. Works well..some days I wish I could quickly disconnect and hand steer..but less times than I'd rather sit and steer!
  10. Bolted to the transom..just like you would throwin it on a tinny.
  11. It will probably be out of the water even sitting still Emil ! This shot shows how high mine sits..and adds a fish pic to the thread! LOL
  12. My 9.9 will push my Baron at 5.7 Mph Emil...an 8 will be plenty for your 1700 prosport.
  13. Well looks like you'll need a long shaft then. Hate when I have to say that..
  14. And Roy's come out REAL purdy too !! Dragged one around GBay last Wednesday for a few hours.
  15. Emil...just looked in the 2007 catalogue and the 1700 Pro Sport has a 20" transom that stays flat full width. So based on the 5" difference on my Lund between main motor and kicker spot....this would lead me to believe that a short shaft 15" would work on the prosport.
  16. And some Lunds really screw you up and need 25 ! Scratch that..was thinking main motor. Just measured mine..main 25" and where kicker goes 20" for it.
  17. Go to Keram's profile and it will bring up his posts.
  18. Man...I'd finally got that picture out of my head! Thanks Glen!
  19. Very, VERY nice ! Guess I should spend more time down there when I visit Mom in SF or daughter in Ottawa!
  20. Not sure what the best search words are Nelson..but I think just about everyone that has done a reno has posted it here and you should be able to dig the threads up.
  21. And why is that...it appears Atlantics have a square tail. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Salmo_s...rken_Norway.JPG
  22. Sure Brian..I have a long rope..I will tow you up and down the BOQ! LOL Sure..I'll hand that off to Maureen...but I won't install it!
  23. That is one beauty "weed" my friend!
