  2. Well they ship promptly, if nothing else. I gave them the go ahead to ship UPS at 1:51 PM yesterday.. and they were already in Fort Erie Canada awaiting customs clearance last night at 9:50 pm.

  8. Yep... about $33 more than Fedx charges!
  9. TAKE NOTE !!!! They can only ship these Via UPS ground because of the compressed air cansisters.. Even though the website check out lets you select USPS Ground International.. they can not, nor will not ship them via the post office. UPS is notorious for extravagant Brokerage fees... but considering the savings.. I told them to go ahead with my order. They charged me $30, for UPS shipping, for 6 units. I'll see what the brokerage is when UPS calls...
  10. TJ's been busy, with his tin cup at the Timmy Horton's.. trying to raise gas money to get to the big smoke on Friday !

  16. Most home policies cover boats up to 18 HP.. give or take.. read your fine print.. but only to the tune of $1500 usually.. and liability which is the most important part. You can upgrade, at cost, for any horsepower you want. I cover the 25HP and steel boat at the camp that way for about $65 a year for theft ($6500 value) on the 25 honda and 2 million liability for boat use. If you have a nice new boat though.. I'd highly suggest a marine policy, with full replacement value. I use "First Mate" - Royal Sun Alliance Yacht Works for my Lund.
  17. LOL Terry... getting gas in the town with the longest covered bridge in New Brunswick.. or was it Nova Scotia.. I don't know.. Kid asks what the motor is for and I say we are headed to PEI.. he says to me.. "you know there's a bridge now" !
  18. I was insuring the Southwind for $589 a YEAR !
