  1. Great stuff fella!!! Next time that father of yours brings you up North we'll have to get out for Lakers!
  2. I can see the next Dock cartoon now....
  3. Thanks guys and yes Rich, you've got that right... she wasn't even supposed to try standing up until around August 20th!! Her biggest issue right now is she's having some issues with pain/burning in her right foot the last few days. We figure it's the nerve endings that got cut at her hip trying to repair themselves. She's still on track to attending beerfest with her friends on the weekend and then we're hoping she's up for heading North with us to enjoy the lake. If not, we'll have to make do with the pool and I'll be hitting GBay for Muskie instead.

Some swell shots of the gargoyles on old city hall +++
  5. In Paul's link.. see how the Goby has a forward facing mouth... the Sculpin is down similar to a sucker and similar to what you have posted Simon.
  6. I'd say it's a Sculpin Simon, but I've been wrong before !
  7. Lake Trout, Smallies and Yellow Perch according to the MNR.
  8. Lew towed his Crestliner for years with one Brian.

  10. Hair is growing like crazy as well.. she's praying it comes in straight as it's been curly all her life and she's one of the funny gals that has to straighten it before going out !
  11. Grab a map and throw a dart ! It's how I choose my lakes to fly into !
  12. Post Op Day 25 was just peachy ! I have some good video but will have to clear it with the boss first and get it uploaded.
  13. Good stuff Bruce!! Great day to get out...
  14. It's great you're having a great time Richard, but slow down and remember the goal at hand. In the next two weeks any temperature over 38.2C is an immediate trip to the hospital as your white counts will = zero and you'll have no immune system. Take good care of yourself !
  15. Don't see why not. The good ones are waterproof anyhow !
  16. Not sure which mug is uglier... Great stuff Jamie... glad DSI was good to you again!
  17. Don't get in too much hurry.. some lose their hair and some don't. But if you do, it's just not your head!!
  18. .. and another one falls to the dark side!!
  19. I want an AA-12 shotgun for gopher control Brian !!
  20. I've never seen winternet go right through the summer! I thought I was the only one not getting out fishing, but I see that ain't so... I'm no stranger to helping out those in need, but at some point they have to find their own dignity ! Many seem to have none left! As for the LCBO check out.. would you like to donate $2 to ......... I have a burr about that, as they won't allow the Crohn's and Colitis foundation of Canada to get in on that windfall. I still however gladly cough up $2 if they say "Sick Kids"... and I hate to say it but that's been a lot of toonies over the last 2 years!
  21. Weeks like that make you wonder why you waited so long to make them little gems I'm sure!! Great trip Mike !!! Love the fly in lakes that have secondary access! lol The north is full of them and what the paying customer doesn't know.. well they don't need to.
  22. Willing to travel a bit further Joe?? I think you can make Temagami in 4.5 hours. I have 26 acres of waterfront you're welcome to use and make all the noise you like, or can also suggest a few islands further down the lake. How big is the boat? Free launch, free parking and free camping. Leaves a lot of money for BEER!
  23. Usually an air bubble under the transducer that does that. Take a scrub pad or something and lightly take the shine off the bottom of the transducer so the air bubble can't stick.
