  2. mine's simple.. no dependants, a t4 + rrsp contributions.. nothing else. i can't think of anything else i'd be allowed to claim being a regular ole salaried employee. studio tax should suffice. i agree, if it were more complicated i'd hand the ball to an accountant.
  3. thanks for the heads up re: studio tax. i like free.
  4. i was in the sevierville, tennessee location this week -- their spring sale started a while ago -- if it was any indication, it's gonna be dissapointing in toronto too.
  5. 1st must have - the regulations 2nd - ignore anything xeon has to say. 3rd - try reading this - a few basics about muskie fishn. 4th - read this - learn about catch & release 5th - put in a lot of time, dollars and effort.
  6. i have two regals.. 500 & 1500 size. i use them both through the ice and the 1500 in the spring trolling for trout and jigging for walleye. they get put away the rest of the year. no issues -- good reel for the price.

the beauty of the 100mph bps suits (and the cabelas guidewear which i have) is the lifetime warranty.. they start leakin' you get a new set -- free.. forever. literally the last pair you will pay for.
  9. i do a perfection loop on the snap end.. a cinch knot would work too. uni-to-uni don't do this for inline spinners/spoons, you will need a swivel for those due to line twist.
  10. yah that's definately phil.
  11. this one's inspired by our hockey team black('n blue) russian 2oz vodka 1oz kahlua
  12. i've ordered electronics (cell phone supplies) and tattoo stuff from china and it's the real deal with really fast shipping to boot (quicker than from the US). never an issue. your mileage may vary.
  13. lebaron would probably have them too.. i am guessing #8 size treble.
  14. at least 'they' didnt paint over the eyes.
  15. by a forum member as well..
  16. if you think about it, planer boards = trolling "bobbers" and they have the added bonus of putting your baits out to the side. never mind, i just had a look at what this thing really does.
  17. ap = american plan - meals provided hk = housekeeping plan - cook yourself
  18. matt, lakair is quite a boat ride from the upper french area. i certainly would not recommend it, esp if you are not familiar with the big lake. gciotala has given you some good advice. including the proper chart #.
  19. put em in your hand or, better yet, put the reel of choice on them and see which one feels best to YOU i dont have experience with all of them but i am sure they are all fine rods.
  20. chatillion are the best leave teh fish in teh net and weigh together with net.. then subtract weight of net from total like so
  21. Bull!! havent used a minnow past two winters. I do 'alright'.
  22. it'll be usa vs canada in the final team with the hottest goalie wins.
  23. I find the Okumas & Compres to be "lighter" than St. Croix as well. The action on Okumas is also "slower". You are right, most are rated for a fast action but just how fast it is varies by manufacturer. There are however, some rods rated for a slower action. St. Croix's 7'2" (marketed as a crankbait rod) comes to mind as well as their trolling rod.
  24. keep in mind that an st. croix xh is a different animal than an okuma xh. not only in weight rating but also in action. for throwing those big blade baits people tend to like a rod with a really fast action so that there is little flex doing figure 8s boatside as an example.
  25. depends on the lake, sometimes even the spots. for whatever reason there are lakes/spots that produce early morning and are done by 10am.
