  1. Nice fish, congrat's to Monique! Pickeral Point? That spot looks awfully familiar.
  2. Awesome fish! How did you catch them?
  3. Some great pictures there Joey, looks like a great week in paradise.
  4. Adventure wise? Nothing compares. We did a 90km round trip twice, it was truly incredible country. Thanks! How did you guys make out on Nipigon when you went?
  5. Surprised to see this one dredged up, although it was a great trip. As far as pictures of the grouse go, sorry I don't have any. My buddy "may" still have some, I'll ask when I see him. Cheers
  6. Here's a couple of fairly recent pictures of my dad. Abamasagi two summers ago Dusey River last June with my son in the background And here's one of my uncle who passed away unexpectedly this past January. He had the biggest impact on my life when it comes to fishing and he's missed every single day.
  7. Just saw this now. I have some info, but the OP won't see it so there's no point in posting. It's never a good idea to ask for info the night before you leave.
  8. Hey Chris, I'm not "too" surprised the main lake shoals weren't hotspots....but the inflow and outflow of the river should have been ridiculous! Sounds like you had fun regardless, although the weirdness from Howard is a bit of a downer. Too bad about that. Looking forward to some more pic's, Aba will always be one of my favorite lakes. Cheers
  9. Thank's guys, the response to this one has been overwhelming. Not surprising though, it was a true trip of a lifetime. I've been away on another fly in the last week or so, just got back. Once again an amazing trip. Should have something posted later this week. For sure Harold! Yes it was SUPER high! We had to adapt to the conditions and travelled a LOT to find the fish. I believe under normal water conditions the fishing would be even better. No kidding!! What I didn't mention was we also had a sat phone with us for safety so it wasn't all that ballsy. Thanks bud. And that trip to Mont Cheminis is one of my favourites too. We're tentatively heading back there again in August. Amazing that you've been to that camp!! The Kissing Otter plaque is still tacked up on the front of the main cabin. How'd you make out when you were there?
  10. The horseflies always go for my toes when I'm wearing sandals, those bites kill! My dog got stung by a bee right on her bum a while back. Now all I have to do is make a buzzing noise and she jumps around wildly in a huge panic LOL!
  11. Just saw this now. You're a woman of many talents, very impressive!
  12. Fantastic man, looks like another great trip! But again, you have GOT to start posting these reports separately LOL!
  13. I know it's shocking isn't it. I believe there's good in everyone, I truly do, and there's a lot of good in both of those guys. Besides which it's never a good idea to throw stones when you live in a glass house. No one's perfect myself included. People learn, grow, evolve, and yes, change. (one can hope)
  14. Bear in mind you can camp close to the marina if you want, they have everything you might need there. http://www.hartleybaymarina.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5&Itemid=5
  15. HEY!!!! That's your arm man, I took that picture not you.
  16. Thanks Mitch. For you anyone else who's wondering I'm sure Hearst Air will take bookings for this year.
