  11. maybe your right... but i read the within 3 hours of toronto. sometimes to get some great experiances you gotta look beyond 3 hours, haha.
  12. look at that someone else besides me appreciates cannibal corpse haha.
  13. you probably know this already but, read up on the web about how to do it yourself. you could save lots of cash that way and retain some valuable knowledge incase you have problems out on the lake. i learned most of my stuff from just takin things apart, and puttin em' back together the right way. and not to mention the old man taught me alot. i thought i'd give you a little push to D.I.Y. , got no other suggestions, i live too far away lol.
  14. haha, success!!! but wrong word expensive, lol. yup better off with an older sled for that price. also a decent quad for around 3 grand too. so i guess you've made up your mind?
  15. nope quite some ways away from sault ste. marie actually lol....
  16. caribou lake eh? is that anywheres around sault ste. marie? i know we have a few lakes around here that are named caribou lake.
  17. country all the way! i dont have particular tracks but i cant stand the ballads. one of my favs. is "southern voice by tim mcGraw" a few others are "these are my people by rodney atkins", "toes in the water, ass in the sand by zac brown band" and these two arent country but haha i listen to em' "cha ching by hedley" and "aces high by iron maiden" JP
  18. good point bernie. im pretty sure honda and can-am has some nice models that were designed to have the option of tracks.
  19. no problem, if you find out let me know if they make em' for quads!
  20. ya thats true, i've wasted some valuble gas so far drilling into what i thought were small lakes but turned out to be marshes haha!
  21. ya haha, a good manufacturer for the tracks is mattracks, if their still around i dont know. they got a nice dealership out in winnipeg i went to a couple years ago. they make the tracks for trucks hummers, you name it. im pretty sure they make em' for quads.
  22. another question is, do you know of any other lakes up along the windmills and such? i got told last year that the windmill roads they made go into some ponds with decent specks, wether or not thats true..... who knows.
  23. well, im too lazy to read all of the posts on here, so i'll give my suggestion. there is alot of camping to be done up here in sault ste. marie with great fishing. there is riverside camping and lake side camping. to get the real good spots a 4 wheel drive pick up would do best but the ones that are accesable by van/car are great too. i've been to the spots myself for a day trip, with alright fishing but theres no real big ones. their quiet with great surroundings. some super nice waterfalls to boot. some river sections have to be fished with artificial flies which is easy even with a normal spin cast rod. caught a 18" speck on the east goulais river with a artificial bumble bee on a spin cast rod. anyhow you can PM me for more info. Good Luck in making up your mind, lol. JP
