  1. Still more than the requirements to get into our army! lol
  2. That's rough man. My condolences. My Dogs are like children to me so I definitely feel your pain!
  3. You always make me jealous lol! Awesome report and great pics!
  4. I love these arguments. Everything is up to interpretation. One CO may give you a ticket, one may not. I believe its all in the way you present yourself/the issue at hand.
  5. I'm stuck at work till 2 PM... What time are you guys going till? Maybe I can stop by and catch a few pannies with you guys. That place is my favorite spot to take my kid!
  6. Awesome fishing guys!
  7. Sweet deal, looks like its in MUCH better shape than my piece of crap! Haven't had time to get mine cleaned up yet. Congrats!
  8. damn it! lol i totally could of come
  9. Was a great day. First time ever targeting this species. Not really my thing but at least I can say I've gotten one.
  10. Thanks for noticing that Terry. The video claims you just need a propane torch... Where exactly did you see that? Or do you just know what type of torch they were using?
  11. Muggy Weld : http://www.muggyweld.com/5clip13.html Vs. Dura Fix http://www.durafix.com/ From what I can tell they are the exact same thing, except that Muggy Weld requires a separate flux while the Dura Fix has the flux in the rod... I assume. Does anyone have experience working with either? Which is the superior product? :D
  12. Awesome report man!
  13. Good post, I need to get out fishing, too distracted lately!
  14. heheh you are right! call me crazy but I just want the nice little snap in snap out drain plug
  15. You can definitely still sign up. It took me just over a month to finally get on a team! My scale and measuring tape hasn't arrive from bass pro so I'm glad I haven't caught anything huge yet! hahaha. ***Correction, It's here and it didn't cost me extra
  16. It looks like "doodoo", and the guy said "You'd be surprised what a tube of caulking can do" so I'm pretty sure it leaks lol. My initial intentions with the leak check were to see how bad/where it was bad. But there was no drain plug so it would of been a futile attempt to put it in the water!
  17. Your fish are awesome, and the women of your country are even better! Keep the reports coming!
  18. I was a little ahead of myself on the leak check. I'm going to clean it up, seal it with steelflex... then I'll take her out for the leak check! It's probably going to take 2 weeks for my check to get down to florida and the product to arrive here... but its worth the wait (as I can't apply it until its 75[23] out anyways). Aparently the stuff doesn't smell at all... so if I get really excited and can't wait maybe I can drag the boat inside lol. Once my repair has been done I will post pics of the final product here!
  19. Seriously I want to start adding numbers to some team!!!
  20. “Those who can’t do, teach.” That's the saying and it seems very appropriate.
  21. Like everyone said, that's a tough sell. No offense, but I think the carp people have determined the best ways to target carp and trolling with a spinner bait is not one of them/not considered targeting carp. You should check out some carp gear. They have line monitors so you don't have to watch your line for bumps/vibrations. There are many specialty rigs out there. If you use store bought boilies and ground bait... You will never have to touch anything slimy or deal with making them! As for sitting on your arse... how is sitting on a boat different from the shore? If you paddle your boat, perhaps bring some of those hand/arm exercises...Just a suggestion. My opinion, along with everyone else, does not matter at the end of the day. The CO is who you will be convincing and I don't think you have anything accepted in the sport fishing world to back you up! Good luck!
  22. I watched you on the episode of "Fish'n Canada" yesterday on WFN! I don't get this programming at home so I don't know the shows by heart, but when you said that it rung a belL! You are full of great advice and you got them into some nice fish! I'm going to have to talk my buddy into splitting a charter with you. He lives in the area!
  23. That totally makes sense. That wasn't really my reasoning for not wanting to do it that way, but for sure it will cause pressure where pressure is supposed to be forcing it the opposite way. HAHAHAHA Awesome story! My coffee is all over my desk at work! Can't wait to get out of this crap hole! 3:30 here we come!
  24. EPIC REPORT! Your kid is awesome! I bet you are one proud dad! You made my day!
  25. The patch I'm worried about is pretty high on the back side. That's an awesome idea but I think for how long its going to take to get home and fill up with water I can just toss it in a pond somewhere! Thanks for the advice guys!! The guy tells me it was patched and has been used since, and hes not aware of any leaks. I figure toss it in the water, me and my buddy sit in it for 10 mins and see if there's any moisture. If not, start fishing. If there is, get it home and apply some of that "Steelflex" to seal it up.
