Please watch this one, more Great Big Sea. I love the idea of a Ceilidh, and usuallly end up trying to play over the talkers. Now I know that the answer is to have everyone play someting or odder.
I know that some boards say, 'TTT', or 'To the Top', but I have used bump, flick, slap, ping, snap, tweak, spank, jerk, and pump, all depending on the local vernacular.
No, really I did.
My stocking list consists of this: right / left. I often have trouble telling them apart, so I usually just go by identifying them by the feets they are on.
Mike is the fishiest dude I've ever met, and I've met a few characters. If there is a trout in that stream, Mike is all over it like a fat kid on a twinkie.
Congrats to Solopaddler, and the lucky guys that just got a clinic. Well done.
I've recorded with McKennit, listen for the Gregorian Chant.
'The opening track, "The Mystic's Dream" (featured on the TNT movie The Mists of Avalon, based on the novel by Marion Zimmer Bradley), is a haunting tune that features McKennitt at her most heavenly peak as a vocalist, evoking the spirits of the instruments and Gregorian chant-like background vocals that accompany her on the track.
The Mystics's Dream
Looks a lot like my first muskie, caught out of season, and some one else's boat ( Colin), about 5 years ago. We were fishing the lower N, bouncing junk for steelhead in March, when I snagged up. Reeled down, another firm tug, still tight. Then I gave 'er a snap, and that's when the drag started to buzz.
That fish fought tough, and an honour to land it. Congrats on your PB.
Lake Simcoe is the obvious choice, with perch, lake trout, whitefish and pike. Stay tuned here, or there for ice thickness and fish reports.
Hope this hleps.
Thumper: He doesn't walk very good, does he?
Mrs. Rabbit: Thumper!
Thumper: Yes, mama?
Mrs. Rabbit: What did your father tell you this morning?
Thumper: [clears throat] If you can't say something nice... don't say nothing at all.
