WOW ! Huge fish. Congrats. Definately a good trip for you.

Hey Wayne, don't you have to wash your hair or something ?

That's a good diet sport 'cause you'll perspire, defecate and urinate yourself on the decent and be lighter by the time you get to the bottom. I know I probably would. Crazy kids.

LEAFS RULE THE HOCKEY WORLD !!! Where's the "Habs suk" choice?

My neighbour had/has kidney stones. Passed one recently and has it in a zip lock bag. I find it a bit weird, but hey, I'm sure lots of stuff I do seems weird to him. He's in the asphalt paving business. Working with shovels and rakes or in the bobcat all day for 10 to 12 hours. I can just imagine the pain he was feeling. He had to take a couple of days off too. Luckily, I've never had to go through it. All I know is you drink lots of fluids to help the stone pass through your urinary system.

Always let my outboards drain themselves and never had a problem. Never owned a 4 stroke, so I don't know if there is a different procedure to follow.

I heard some people did well on the dipseys last weekend at Quinte. Most people were using deep diving baits on the planer boards, downriggers or even flatlining with long leads. If you try the dipseys, the lead from the dipsey to the lure should be no longer than the length of the rod you are using. Much easier to get lures/fish to the boat. Good luck !!!

Super outing for you. Make sure you keep checking the rear view mirror on your next trip.

House Approves State Funeral For Last WWI Vet Nf
Carp replied to bpsbassman's topic in General Discussion
As mentioned already, it's the least we can do. I have the utmost respect for these war vets. If anyone gets the chance, sit down and have a chat with one of them. Amazing stories. Not just about war, but life in general. -
Chris Cross from this board may be able to help. You should contact him. Good luck.

Quick, what's the sequence of numbers for the missle launch ? Ultimate morons !!!

I have an uncle who works at the Pickering nuclear station. He says when they bring up the grill for the water intake to clean it, it's full of fish. Some very large fish of multiple species, skis included. I can see a few skis cruising the islands. They have food and habitat. Not as plentiful as pike, but certainly can live in the same waters as their toothy, speckled, green cousins

Good trip for you Wayne. Wish I knew I could get away sooner so I could have joined you. Next trip ??? Like the pics. Thurs and Fri were nasty days for sure, but Sat and Sun were fine fishing days. Glad you got into some fish and nailed a pb too.

WOW !!! Just read this post. Didn't realize I caused such a stir by fishing solo. Not the first time I've done it and probably not the last either. Yes, blackfish88 slept in Sun. morning. Power/alarm problems. It happens. I called him to see how long he would be to get to the lake. I actually woke him up when I called and he told me to head out fishing without him because he didn't want to hold me up any longer. Wayne, I guess you didn't know I spoke to him after leaving your cabin. It was actually 8:30am when I was at your place because I left and called him at 8:45am from Tip of the Bay parking lot. You're right about it being easier to fish with a partner in those conditions though. I didn't want to impose on anyone for a spot to sleep. Could have slept on someone's floor, but I survived just fine in the van. Started her up a couple of times to warm up the interior through the night. That spicy food I ate for dinner kept waking me up, hence the potty trip to your place in the am. Everyone in the same place is the best scenario, but it isn't easy with such a large group. Let's all play nice.

Try taking off your shirt up here at that time of year tough guy. That's how we can tell who the tourists are. As soon as the temp gets below freezing, they have to put shirts on. Will be nice to meet you in person GDC.

Cool. Lots of fish caught this past weekend. Congrats.

More sweet eyes. Nice shooting boys.

SWEET WALLYS. Very nice day for you.

Cute and cuddly. Congrats.

Buon compleano ! Happy Birthday ! Have a nice day guys.

Nice to meet you Emil. You did well out there. I fished hard Sat and Sun with only one hit and nothing to show for it. I finally gave up at dark on Sun night. Maybe we should have fished together. I was alone all weekend. Next trip bud.

I like Friday because most people aren't working the next day and it would be easier for people coming from farther away. People are more likely to stick around and chat since there's no hurry to get to bed. Having said that, I should be able to make any night.
-
No problem Joey. It would be a pleasure to have her aboard. @ Fang.

I'll be leaving Friday night or early Saturday morning from Mississauga, making a stop in west end Toronto to pick up the boat. Driving down solo. Ya, I know. Waited too long, last minute, no space, all booked, ..... Guess I may have to sacrifice my body in the name of fishing and shack up with the local cougars if I can't get a floor spot. Ahhh, life is good in Canada....no ??? I'm waiting to hear back from blackfish88, so I'll have room for 1 or possibly 2 in the boat. Let me know if anyone needs a boat to fish in. Anyone want to fish with the best walleye guide in the world ? Well, he's probably busy, so you can fish with me instead. By the way, I like the look of the new site. Nice job guys.
