  4. Based on tackletour's fluorocarbon shootout, I'm currently using BPS XPS FC mainline in 6/8/14lb for bassing purposes and have had 0 issues. I use 40lb Seaguar Blue Label for when I'm piking or Musky fishing ... 0 issues.

  6. 5lb + largies have been caught there. Never seen a large smallie, but heard that they can be had higher than 5lbs+
  7. I'm dropshoting in 8-15ft. The lake I'm on is only 35ft at it's deepest. I can't get aything to bite and stay on the the deep weeds.
  8. Hi all, I've done well this summer catching many smaller bass, mostly smallie, dropshotting. Dropshotting seems to be the only way I can consitantly catch numbers of fish, but most smaller than 2 lbs, with a few under 3lbs. To get on larger fish, do I need to change spots, technique or just keep weeding through all the smaller ones and eventually land larger fish? Thanks in advance
  9. Brian seems like a stand up guy. Seen him help a few online folks!
  10. Went to Aikman's on Tuesday. 2 days later I have it back! Time to put it to use tomorrrow. Big thumbs up to Aikman's for a very reasonable and quick repair! Thanks for the advice!

  22. What's everyone's take on storing soft plastics? I've been a baggie guy for a long time, but as my soft plastic arsenal increases the storage of many bags is getting cumbersome. Soft plastics in question are worms, tubes, craws, rodents, etc (not gulp alive) I've always been in the frame of mind that to keep them as soft as possible and keep their "scent" I'd rather open a single bag/colour with zip-lock seal allowing air to enter that single bag/colour (minimizing air contact) instead of opening up a plano box (or similar) allowing air in the whole container holding all the soft plastics. Thoughts?
