  1. ...a few slight modifications and you'd be good to go Bill!
  2. Also, my kid said that if he ever sells his kit, the price just doubled. lol
  3. lol...He's more of a golfer and he tours a crazy amount...plus, he lives in Atlanta. Hmmmmmm, I hear the bass is pretty darn good down there though!! heehee ROAD TRIP!
  4. ****Update***** Was able to jump it with a screwdriver on the solenoid. Fired right up first touch. I also took apart the handlebar attachment with the choke/kill-switch/start button on it to see if it was corroded but it looked like new inside. After I got it back together and on the bar I pressed the start button and wouldn't you know, it fired up.?!?!?! I tried it 3-4 more times and it kept on starting. But......on the 5th time it didn't again. ARGH!!! so I kinda played with the kill-switch and wiggled the wires and bit and it fired up again. So, my conclusion would be a loose wire or faulty kill switch. I'll be digging into it a bit more this week. Thanks for all the helps gents! Colin
  5. You must have some sweet snorkels!! heehee. Good idea about greasing the connections. Point well taken!
  6. That's what I thought right off the bat.........maybe my kid flipped the kill switch over to the "off" position but no such luck.
  7. ...and i'm glad it wasn't an XXL Bill..lol
  8. Just 10" of ice eh. Pfft! lol Sure.....rub it in.
  9. Rick......yes, all gauges and lights work properly....including the neutral light.
  10. My neighbour of 15yrs is his brother. Actually, my neighbour has 2 brothers, Glen and Shawn that both were in Megadeth. Glen, the guitarist, has since quit the band to be with his family. I've been to MANY concerts and even on their tour bus a few times and met some really cool guys from other bands like Lamb of God, Dream Theater, Symphony X....etc. I have a few pics of us drinkin' in the backyard somewhere. lol. I gotta tell you, Dave Mustaine (the lead singer and founder of Megadeth...and one of the original members of Metallica) is one weird dude! lol
  11. Only 5-6 short weeks til I see that!!! Damn, I hate waiting. Thanks for the pics!
  12. My battery has been A-1 since I bought it new last year. I mean, when the elec. start was working, I would barely press the start button and it would fire right up instantly. Tested it with the mulit-meter and it read just over 12 volts when everything was off.
  13. Makes sense Big Cliff. I'll give 'er a go tomorrow and post my findings.
  14. I got my suit off of a fellow OFC'er, BillM. Got a great deal on a Mustang Integrity HX. Top on the line floater suit. Very warm and 100% waterproof. My buddy has the Helly Hansen one and his only complaint is that it's very stiff and rigid. My Integrity HX is super flexible in comparison to his.
  15. I'm going to take all these helpful tips and ideas and bulk test them tomorrow in the day. I just didn't know where else to look or try.
  16. I do have a multi meter.....maybe not the best at using one but I can tell if the battery is good. lol
  17. My buddy is the drummer for the heavy metal band MEGADETH and he had a few days off before Halloween so he popped over and made my son's day by rocking out on his drums and signing his cymbols. I know most of you won't be into this type of music but it still was pretty cool. The next day he flew out to LA to play on Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy Kimmel Live Video
  18. I've tried to start it both in neutral and in park and still nothing. I'll give it another go though. I'm willing to try anything...again and again! LOL
  19. I decided to make a ice rod box to bolt behind the 2-up seat on my atv last weekend. Here's the semi-finished project. I still have a few minor things to do yet. It'll hold 4 rods and some other small gear. The reason I built it was because I purchased a few longer rods this year ( 36" & 42" ) and I knew they wouldn't fit in my portable huts the way I wanted them to. Colin
  20. No noise at all. To me, it seems like no power is getting to the motor. I'm thinking it could be a grounding issue?!?! I'm not sure where the switch or whatever would be grounded. Very frustrating. lol
  21. I'm wondering if anyone can help me with my ATV problem. I moved my atv to the backyard last weekend to make some room in my garage.......it starting like a champ like it always, has so I drove it around back. It was parked for 5mins and I went back to try to start it up again and nothing. No clicking, no noise. All gauges still light up and it still starts first pull on the manual start but when I press the elec. start button nothing happens. I checked the battery and and the fuses they're all perfect. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Colin
  22. Is that the best you can do....sheesh???? hahahaha Awesome fish man!!!
