  1. I'll second that "Don't pee in the Grand" rule. Also no photoshopped pics of dead facist leaders with muskies. Like this: http://www.myfishingpictures.com/data/507/8977musky.jpg
  2. Really cool. thanks for the link.
  3. Gotta have: 1. Muskies 2. Good rental boats 3. Gas BBQ 4. Beach (kid friendly) 5. Hot showers In that order.
  4. They could just come out to the KW GTG. I'm still waiting to see what shift I'll be working on that day before I can commit.
  5. Wow 450 lb capacity, big enough for two adults, or one big danbo
  6. The Bronte creek pier is an option. Here is a link to a camera view out of Bronte harbour. http://lakevision.net/index.html Just click on the camera map then choose the great lakes camera you wish to view. Bronte is the only Canadian camera offered.
  7. If any of you are thinking of getting into kayak fishing this year, there is a great deal on right now at Costco. A 10' Pelican recreational kayak for $359. It comes with a spray skirt, paddle and roof top carrier. Paddle $100, skirt $70 & cartop kit $40. You are practically getting the kayak for $160.
  8. On your toolbar there is an icon that looks like a lightswitch with the apple logo beside it. Once you click on it you can choose desktop and put any photo you want up there.
  9. Great report & pics. That's a nice eye at the end there, congrats.
  10. Go to Island Lake in the Orangeville conservation area. Great numbers and fish up to 14" (from my experience). Small jigs in the 1/16oz or smaller work great tipped with artificial rubber or live bait.
  11. Thanks SlowPoke, just added it to my 7yr old daughter's favourites.
  12. I have a 14' Sportspal transom with a 30lb electric trolling motor. My other boat is a 9'6" kayak. The best part is, I can get them both on top of my car. At the same time.
  13. Touchy topic because it involves religious beliefs. My feelings are that any injuries that are a result of not wearing a helmet should be the financial responsibility of the biker, not the tax paying public. I own a bike myself and always wore my lid, even in States that didn't have helmet laws. I feel the same about smokers and health benefits, but that is another can of worms all together.
  14. Cool! Looks like a bunch of cotton balls all lined up.
  15. Welcome. Yes it's very addictive. Soon you'll be talking your buddies into skipping golf for fishing trips.
  16. Welcome to the bored
  17. Fish play hockey.
  18. I'd suggest Valens Conservation area. Great camping, hiking trails, nice beach, playgrounds and good panfishing. They rent small aluminum boats as well as canoes and sit on top kayaks.
  19. London is an hour away from Kitchener Roy. I'd hope we could find somewhere closer.
  20. According to the "Hockey Database" he's still playing in Austria. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php3?pid=2469 Poor guy had to play with the Leafs too
  21. I've been tempted to get the kayak out for some downhill sledding. Just afraid I might break my paddle while trying to steer.
  22. Fireball, this little boat would be much easier for you to handle than a canoe. It is a Canadian Tire Special at $299, add another $100 for the paddle. It is 9' 6" long and weighs 38lbs. I've added an Obus Forme seat for comfort and a rod holder up front. I've since removed the rod holder and replaced it with a camera mount for taking pics of my catches. I built the cart out of a couple of old hockey sticks for easier transport. I am not a kayaker, I'm an angler who fishes out of a kayak. I look at it like a pair of waders that the water never gets too deep for.
  23. That's how I get to and from the launch Cory. With all my gear in tow.
