  1. Now that's funny. Hurray for boobies!
  2. Prolly a coupla fish kicking around... I'm told water levels have been down this year. We were doing well towards the end of October, when the salmon were still in.. Now that the salmon are gone.. I dunno! Funny thing, they seem to have all but vanished!! Anybody else experience this? HD
  3. Well done!! And with a muzzleloader to boot. 2 weeks outta take the edge off. Assuming the muscle didn't have much time to contract, is 2 weeks pretty much the standard?? cheers! HD
  4. squared..
  5. I think this has a lot to do with angling methods. Perhaps carp are difficult to be had on conventional tackle, as opposed to say bass or pike. Just MHO. The slavs at our end catch em and eat em all the time.. I've actually seen em camp out at the mouth of the Humber and have little slav shin-digs.. HD
  6. You sure it wasn't called GIBLOTTE Roy?! Mouman en fesait avec des restants de poissons.. blurk. HD
  7. Very kewl. I like the ones with the spun deer hair shaped like muddlers. If I was a lunge, I'd eat em! HD
  8. That's the plan.
  9. Ah gotcha. I was thinking leftover line spools, so more assembly involved. They must work well for pike! Just enough drag so you hear the spool turning.. That's a nifty idear!
  10. I'll stuff my face with both! I'll worry about purging later... Thanks dude. HD
  11. We're on the same page.. Literally! 600 years.. Good thing for her Asphalt doesn't hold gama rays.. WOW. HD
  12. hhmmmm.. I see what you mean. I guess carp arn't the best indicator species. Now I'm in a dilly of a pickle. What do I say when I'm presented with a big plate of carp? "No thanks, whistling trout are not on my list" or "Chernobyl is how far from here again?" YUCK. HD
  13. NOICE! Just in time for the Holidays.. Way to spread that cheer dude. cheers HD
  14. Girlfriend's parents are Russian... They actually eat more carp up there than they do salmon. Assuming of course it's a less expensive delicacy up there, apparently carp, baked, is actually quite nice. I wouldn't eat them out of lake O, but I'm sure there's areas around here where they're safe to eat.. We'll be visiting them in Moscow this spring, and Tanya's dad promissed he'd whip us up a nice carp.. Can't wait!! HD
  15. That's quite the handy work Jacques!! The things we do for love... You're making me home sick.. I hope to get some time on the ice this year. Coupla questions though: What did you use for the plastic spools? And are those rigs for specific species? Very nice. merci HD
  16. Mike you're obviously yanking our chains... That's a juvie whale shark man!! What are you trying to start eh?! HAHAH HD
  17. How shallow are you catching them? I thought they were more of a open water kinda species. We pull them often in Lake Temiskaming, but it's usually through the ice, some ways from shore. If you can bear the stench, I hear they're just like cod! Like Mike said though, the belly meat should be cut off. Can we see a pic?? cheers HD
  18. Stéphane Dion blows goats...I have proof!! HAAH!! HD
  19. Pacific Mall... LOL Best spot to Mod your console. Oops did I say that out loud??!
  20. Just noticed that... Hitachi??!! Send it in mang. good luck!
  21. Sounds like it needs to be serviced... Have you been leaving on while you sneak out to the harbour?! Overheating tends to be a problem with newer gaming systems.. Your processor may have suffered a little. If it's under a year old my guess is it's still under warranty. Send it in and they'll fix it free of charge. While it's in the shop, get out there and fish! cheers HD
  22. My thoughts exactly. I was thinking either big spreaders or Jib cables...LOL Monster fish though!! Kudos on the angler for putting her back. To heck with pics beside the measuring tape. Holly free hollies!! HD
  23. Either the snowshoe hares are at the peak of their cycle, or Elly's handy with photoshop!! How long do kittens stay with their mother? I'm thinking three of those cats are the years brood.. That's the only scenario that's probable IMO, and extremely rare!! There. I said it! HD
  24. That there's a nomadic pike! Nice fish. Congrats! cheers HD
  25. Nice work Dawg! For a second there I thought you were gonna scare the BEEGESUS outta me.. You've got a real purty play ground for your Deere! cheers HD
