That's true. Proceed up Lady Evelyn river with caution dude. The route I mentioned in my PM. Fishing is way better in the spring when you can still find em in the shallows. I went up last year in mid August, so only the lodges seemed to put people onto bigger fish.. Minnows are allowed, but worms work really well.. Don't forget your crankbaits, I caught more fish on them then anything else. HD

Temiscaming's a great lake, but it might be a little big if you're prospecting.. If someone doesn't physically put you onto fish, you may cover alot of water, just to be casting in oblivion.. Have you considered, Lady Evelyn? It's not far from Temiskaming. It's mostly provincial park, so you can count on there being lotsa good camping spots, motor boats are also permitted, and the fishing is great in early spring.. Also, it's a breathtaking part of the province!! PM me brotha. HD

If ya got a float tube (forget wading, you're a risk of getting stuck in the ooze and the methane is gawd aweful), check it out. The Humber marshes has a good population of large mouths and some pike in early spring.. Mind you, water clarity is poor most of the time, so you gotta pick your days carefully. cheers HD

Hey gang, Hosted a little shin-dig the other night and some of my guests were hardened fising maniacs... Figured what better way to keep them entertained than to add a little fishing in the party mix!! Hit Gamerama and got a good price for a refurbished game so I bought it.. I then ran home cradling it in my arms, tongue drooping, eyes as big as toonies.. I thought sweet, time that will be well waisted.. Took it home and we finaly figured out the controls, several pilsners, shots of jd, ect., later.. Had to apply to straps-in rule in order to avoid abuzing our alcohol and to minimize damage to the place. Game is pretty gnarly, and the theme song actually had us line dancing.. But there's one thing I can't seem to master.. That mag boost reel-in option!! While battling a fish, you get this prompt on your screen telling you to press A and +, while jerking your wiimote downwards or upwards, depending.. AND I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK!!!! What am I doing wrong? Do I need to do it faster? Do the 2 buttons need to be pressed at the exact same time?! Someone.... please.. I... I.. AAAHHHHHHH Oh and what are your thoughts about the game too?! hehhee

Right on Wayne! I took my father to see him and we had a blast.. Well, I was a bit more festive, shall we say.. For me, it was more of a chance to check him off the list of bands I had to see before blah blah blah.. Like you said, he was good, but for 63, he can still rock like someone half his age. We were both blown away and it was a very humbling experience. It's too bad the venue couldn't have been held at Molson Amp on a calm summer's day. I wasn't too impressed with the sound at ACC, but it may have been where we were seated. Unreal how many songs he's written though!! I'd never even heard most of the songs he sang.. I gotta say that cowgirl in the sand and cortez the killer were my faves. cheers HD
