  1. USPS all the time. I order a ton from the states and if it isn't USPS i don't buy. Made the mistake of not looking one day and the brokerage fee was almost 3 times the cost of the item! Hope they have to pay all of us back, lol. Good luck. As for the tickets, keeping the old one on the windshield is classic!
  2. I own an 06' Denali and it's one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. No comparison in the comfort and hauling department. The thing tow's my 19 footer with ease. It has the 6.0 liter in it and I wouldn't change it. They are big however, but with kids and dogs in tow you need the room. I haven't had many issues with it (110k)knock on wood. The fuel situation isn't that bad as long as you keep your foot off the gas.lol But i swear it burns gas just sitting in the driveway. But if you want towing power and comfort for your family (safety to of course) don't look any farther than the yukon!
  3. So mister GAS Guy paid (?) to fill his tank on Monday, Wednesday the price of oil goes way up, Wednesday night we're all paying alot more for gas? What happened to mister GAS Guy selling for the price he paid for it in the first place. Cause all the gas in his tanks cost alot less than what he's selling it for! But I do agree that he doesn't want to sell the gas in his tanks for less. Whatever we're all getting screwed
  4. Look up John Island Camp. It's a little further than you were looking for, but is one of the best camps going. It's run by the Sudbury YMCA. Pristine white sand beaches and a beautiful island with all the amenities and great staff.
  5. Lake Lauzon (15-20 mins south) is full of fish. Bass, walleye and giant pike and musky. Bright lake does having good fish in it, but as said is tough sometimes. There's always lake Huron that is a stones throw from Iron Bridge, and you can target whatever you'd like. Giver and catch some fish. When in doubt come to Elliot Lake
  6. Crazy. Wish those kids were wearing their life jackets! You said it best Roy. Jail that man
  7. I also thought that my boat was great on fuel, anytime I'm running on the lake I have a full tank. When I stop and turn the key it tells me the actual fuel level. Kinda bugs me, but I thought that's the way it worked. Guess I'll have to pull the float aswell. Good info!
  8. Say NO to Drugs!!!! Hopefully a wake up to all the kids out there hooked on the Oxycotin
  9. My hot tub is about $30 to $4o a month to run and it is running 24/7. Depends on what you want to pay for relaxation and entertainment? Hell I bet you spend more than that at Timmies! Just saying, it isn't going to break the bank. Wouldn't trade mine in! Maybe for a 9.9. Any takers, haha
  10. Thanks to all, I guess there's alot more research on the horizon for me! Atleast I got some time! Thanks again
  11. The HDS units don't have the Down scan imaging? I figure that would be better than the standard fish finder?
  12. Thanks Aaron, I am in favor of the lowrance but just checking in on experience. As this will be my first higher priced finder. Just wanted to make sure either one wasn't a junker!
  13. Hello all, I was thinking of one of these 2 finders- Lowrance 5xDSI or the HB 596 HD DI. Both are around the same price but was wondering if anyone has these models and what their opinion was. Also do they have gps? It says they will track your waypoints, so I am to believe they have it. Any input on these 2 models will be appreciated and if you have a better suggestion for the money I am open to all. Thanks
  14. Nice ski! Gotta love Northern Ontario
  15. Thanks guys! Good advise changing the foot oil before fall fishing. I will only be fishing till November, cause most if not all the lakes around will be starting to freeze soon. It's cold up here. Thanks again.
  16. Hey all, have gotten quite a few different opinions on this. I want to use my boat (mercuy 90hp 4 stroke)into November. I live in Northern Ontario. I guess the question is: Do I have to flush with antifreeze every time I come home, or does the engine completely drain so that I don't have to worry about any freezing parts?? I have read that if the motor is trimmed all the way down that all water will drain out. I also know that there are lots of spots that water can get trapped. What do you's do when fishing late in the season? Thanks
  17. It is a Mercury! For a guy that doesn't get out of the house much, you sure do know alot! Thanks haha
  18. Thanks, what I've been reading is mostly bad! So I think I'll stick with my Evinrude. Thanks again
  19. Hey there, was wondering if any of you own a 1997 - 150HP Johnson FICHT Fast Strike motor, and if so, how has it been? Has it been reliable, what parts have you had to change? If anyone knows of some one who owns/owned one of these motors I would be greatful of ANY information. Why I ask is that someone is selling one or wants to trade for a 70-90hp 4 stroke (which I have 90hp) and of course I always want more power. I love the 4 stroke for ease of use, ie: no oil to add ect... But would it be worth the hassel for the extra power and speed? Thanks
  20. THANK YOU Richard! That is exactly what they are doing.
  21. Back blade there is lots of fish in Horne lake, mostly rainbow the MNR have been doing a good job of stocking the lake. People are there every day, not sure how many catch alot of fish but they do catch them. The boat launch on Elliot Lake is another popular spot with pike and bass caught in abundance. Give me a shout when you come up and maybe we can get out in the boat one night after work! You must be working on the new Shopper's Drug Mart? I can give you a couple other spots to shore fish that are way better than Horne lake!!!
  22. You have to STATE clearly that you want it shipped USPS and not UPS. UPS always has brokerage fee's and import fee's. USPS does not. I have bought countless items on ebay and have been dinged a few times and every time it's UPS. Most times even with the fee's it still cheaper (but not by much) Nice reel by the way!
  23. Great Job Ryan, I hope to make it next year with another OFNer. Looks like a great Ol' time. And congrats on the money raised!! I think I saw a set of Craftsman tools there??? Aynonomus Donator?? Great prizes! Also some nice Largies
  24. Great looking fish man! Can't wait for my turn with the big ski's! Awsome job!
  25. Nice shark indeed! Just wondering if you's need an extra hand???
