Joey, those are some beautiful pictures, what is happening to this planet/country is very sad indeed! I don't know what the answer is? I just heard we are bringing in another 285,000 refugees again this year, where are they all going to live? Everyday I drive through this area and I see development after development of new homes where fields and bush used to be and it's still not enough! Look at the prices of homes these days, waterfront properties are going up about twice as fast as anything else because they just aren't making any more of them!

Sue and I bought a trailer when our son bought his place in French River. It was an older used one but not in bad shape. Well, we loved it!!!!!! Wwe had our own space when we wanted it, the kids had their own space. All summer we would have them over for dinners, the grandkids would come to visit when they wanted, they would have us over for dinners man that was some wonderful times. Winters we didn't use it much, the furnace didn't quite keep it warm at about -10 and running electric heaters was a bit of a hassle. The other thing that we had to sort out was septic but we did. Water was easy, just a hose. I am sure this will be one of those "wow" investments!!!!!

OK, I have been working stupid long hours lately and I have decided thet I am going to enjoy myself. Where is the best place to order fresh live lobsters about 1.5 lbs and delivered to my door would be an asset cause I am too busy to go get them. Found one place on the internet, $11.99/lb plus $70.00 freight for 10 of them. Are there better deals? Might be willing to order 20+ if the deal was good enough.

I would be telling them I won't accept it and either want a new hull or a full refund. If they don't want to do either then I would be taking it to court and they will end up giving you a refund but they will be paying court costs and have a judgement against them. You bought and paid for new, not a hack job.

Salt is bad for you, oh wait, no it isn't! Eggs, fish, beef, pork, butter, sugar......... every time I turn around there is another study that shows something that was bad for you is good for you and the pendulum just keeps swinging. If I die because I am over weight, drink too much, eat too many eggs..... whatever, I am going with food in one hand, a fishing rod in the other, a bottle of scotch at my feet, a beautiful lady at my side and a smile on my face and I want to be burried bass up so the politicians can all kiss my bass!

Salt isn't that good for the fall. They will typically utilize salt the most during the warmer months when they are feeding on natural forages and browse. As the weather cools in the fall they tend to use it less and less frequently especially in areas where there are a lot of crops that they can forage on. Corn/molasses/apples/carrots are all more effective.

IMHO keep the fish on the line and as long as you do that, you will land it! Sounds simple but it isn't always! You have to keep the line tight enough that the fish can't spit the hook out but loose enough that you don't rip it out. Remember that a fish with your hook in it's mouth is your fish until you do something to remove the hook! Light but steady pressure, no slack line, keep the rod tip high and be ready to drop it quickly. BTW, I am no expert! X usually = an unknown and a spurt is just a drip under pressure!

You would be welcome to bring him over to our place! He can catch hundreds of pan fish right off our dock no problem at all and dad might even catch a walleye/muskie/or bass. We are just North of Lindsay about an hour an 20 minutes from Barrie and if it starts to rain you can even cast right from the boat house. PM if you want the address, we'll even do a hotdog/burgers lunch and if a rod does happen to go in the lake, no problem I've got great grandkids and lots of experience getting rods out!

My guess would be Shiitake , right time of the year and they do like hardwood logs (oak if I'm not mistaken). Sauted with a little butter, add a very light cream sauce infused with a bit of red wine and served on a blue rib eye steak. Oh I love food!

I don't use it personally although I did try it a few times over the years, I just didn't like the way it zoned me out but that is a personal thing. I do know people that have been using it for 20+ years. I don't know anyone that used it as a stepping stone to hard drugs and most of the people that I do know who use it don't drink (or do so very moderatly). I know a few people that use it to help with the effects of chemo, if it gives them some relief then let them have it. Now down to the simple thing; who the heck cares if they smoke it, eat it, drink it, vape it???????????????? If it is legal for them to have it or use it what does it matter how they get it into their system???? You should see the amount of garbage we clean up off our shore line every year and that's only the stuff that floats! Mind you, the bonus is I usually get some good crank baits and floats too LOL.

Of all the woods for burning ash is IMHO the best however I have used willow, poplar, (and just about any other kind of wood I could get for free or cheap). If it is willow or bass wood (both tend to be very soft and hold moisture) Split smaller than you would your harder woods, let them dry and they will be great for those cool evenings in the spring and fall when all you want is a quick fire to take the chill off. No free wood is bad wood!
